Review for Store Employees/Service: Been going here since it opened at the Park Royal South location. Always hot and muggy to the point that I get dizzy or feel ill. Repeatedly seen and heard Coordinators/Supervisors yell«hurry up», I’m the boss/Manager”, «faster faster» to employees, in particular to elderly employees who are newer or recently hired. Basic respect and verbal tact is missing and very apparent while I’ve shopped the store in most departments. The store is clean an organized for the most part and somehow employees get on without little to any paid training — this is obvious because Coordinators are training employees on the job which is highly stressful and they are being moved around from one department to the next. Sometimes the toughest jobs are seen being worked by the elderly employees — as in shoes! omg! bend over pick up shoes and try to match them, find the missing shoe, place them back only to have customers who are really lazy throw a mess down on the floor right after it was cleaned up. Unfortunately though, many items that I’ve bought have been defective as well: missing buckles, cookie stamps without an actual drawing on the stamp!, improperly attached items, leaky shoes that are supposed to be waterproof, dye is missing, etc.

Yeah yeah I’ve heard it all–«you can find such great deals», «I found this designer item for one third of the price” — blah blah blah. Yes maaaaaaybe you’ll find something brand name at a good price(which I doubt) but who has the time to dig through this mess of a store with zero customer service(because«they are a discount store» and you don’t deserve service if you are getting a discount it seems)???

Fashions here are hit and miss, however, the skinny jeans that I love so much with the faux snake skin look. I bought them here at this location for under $ 20 which is a steal. Their gourmet food section is reasonably stocked with a good variety. I scored a discount Halloween gingerbread house for this year(yes I am making a Nightmare Before Christmas house).

Maybe because it’s part of the West Van allure or the fact that it’s located by the food court, it’s one of the nicer Winners. Men’s stuff is in the back on left side, and as usual, you just have to dig for deals.

This is by far the best Winners Store I’ve been in

Pretty much like any other Winners… a little more ‘open’ feeling with the layout… but the aisles are probably narrower than most Winners I’ve been in. Didn’t really ‘score’ here… but it’s always a roll of the dice…

I love almost all the Winners but this one is head and shoulders above the rest. Being in West Van I guess they get a better selection than the other ones especially the high end stuff. Most of the other Winners have the standard CK, Guess, etc. but this one has like Versace, D&G, Ferragamo and stuff like that… nice!(even though I can’t afford those!) This Winners also has more of my sizes as well. It is just a higher end store in general, it’s clean and tidy and the shoppers seem to have more respect here. At other stores I noticed packages are ripped opened and just tossed anywhere, the toy sections are usually a mess with stuff just thrown on the floor. This is a pretty cool store…

Why aren’t all Winners like this location? This one offers such a fantastic selection, is clean and the staff are friendly even though its a busy mad house. If the ones by my house were like this I wouldn’t be so opposed to shopping there. I will be back and sooner rather than later.

Best winners in Metro Vancouver. Why? They seem to get far better merch than all other winners in the area(with the exception of Robson St. Downtown, which is far more picked over). Picked up a pair of Diesel jeans here two years ago(which I still wear regularly), then had the delightful experience of walking out into the mall and findin the same pair for 3x as much in a shop there.

Holy Moly Mother of all Winners. This place is huuuuuuuge. Be prepared to spend +3 hours here. I specifically chose THIS winners to review because of the designer department. I don’t mean the usual ‘buffalo calvin klein’ designer, I mean SEE by Chloe, Versace, Burberry peices I picked up there. Runway brands, winner prices what is there not to love? The size selection can be a bit dissappointing but if you are between a M-L you should be able to pick out TONS of runway items for really good prices. Ample parking, located in a mall, very very good selection of clothing and SHOES !!! 5 shelves filled both sides in MY size? I just creamed myself. My only knock to this is I wish they would carry more sizes to choose from in clothing, and weekends can be a little hectic. Definately will be visiting this location often.

Love browsing here, especially in their kitchen section. Wish it was bigger though. Love how the employees don’t hassle you. Though some cashiers could be more polite and friendly.

My mom and I love shopping at Winners. When she invited me to Park Royal, I was happy to join her for an afternoon of shopping. When I arrived at the mall, I was a bit surprised. Winners had moved into their new location. This is the biggest Winners that I have ever been to! It’s HUGE! I think we spent 2 hours there and we didn’t get to check all the departments out. There are a lot of new cashiers learning the ropes but I’m sure they’ll get faster. Overall, I’m impressed with the new space and layout. What a lovely shopping surprise!
