Two thumbs up. That man is a moving one man show. Very attentive and Never resting. Pizza was great, going to try the pasta best time. The place was busy and nobody was left hanging. Regulars were coming in along with stranded ferry users. Walk past fresh slice and trolls for better food and service.

Pizza is pretty good and there is cool sodas but I’m spoiled by New York pizza so anything from Canada isn’t nearly as good as the pizza in my hometown. The plain pizza is totally fine but don’t get the pepperoni, it is baked into the pizza and tastes like baloney. I’d give it a 3.7 if I was being exact.

OK, I didn’t have pizza. I had the pasta with Bolognese sauce. For eight &¾ dollars, I got a humongous bowl of spaghetti with delicious meaty sauce. On the downside there is no bread whatsoever. The cheapest meal I’ve had in my 5 days in Canada… maybe the best too. they closed while I was finishing dinner at 7:30pm! Does everybody go to bed at 8pm in Canada???

Pudgies is great ! I don’t even mind waiting for a ferry because of this place. The atmosphere is cliché, it’s how I would imagine a pizza parlour. The food is excellent, I love their pizza crust; the pasta is also very good. Not to mention it’s priced very fairly and it’s someone I feel good supporting the restaurant knowing he’s a hard working independent business owner. He’s extremely friendly and quite enjoyable to be around. All around good place with good management and tasty food! Would recommend to anyone in horseshoe bay!

I agree, this is the best pizza in Horseshoe Bay. Make sure that you take the time to get a slice here instead of some of the others. The crust is light and fluffy. Toppings are good. I picked up a slice of pepperoni/mushroom and a slice of sausage. The sausage was spot on. The best part is they have Mexican Coke in a bottle! I have looked all over Vancouver and have not found it once. Yes, you can find Coke in a bottle but it comes from Canada. There is a big difference in flavor. What did I learn today? The BC Bike Race has the owner running crazy behind the counter to serve 100s of carb crazy mountain bikers!

Delicious Greek salad, a little skimpy on the olives but still recommended. The pizza is very tasty, unusual — I detected the flavour of a spice I haven’t tasted in many years… aniseed? Turmeric? Anyway, it hits the spot. My favourites are Italian sausage and vegetarian. Owner is a lovely man, always a kind word for everyone.

The best pizza in Horseshoe Bay. The owner is a super nice guy, pizza slices are big, good ratio of toppings to crust, and service is always super quick. Walk right past Fresh Slice, turn left at Starbucks, and after you’ve eaten thank yourself for walking the extra 200 feet.

I always look forward to stopping by Pudgies on my way to Whistler. The pizza is amazing and the past is delicious. I love their slices as well as their custom pies. Pudgie, the guy who works there, is always friendly and always remembers us as soon as we walk in. Bonus points because they have a good selection of beer and soft drinks

Great place for a quick slice before the ferry. Great spot. Good guy owns it too. Nice size slices. Lots of different pop drinks. Even sells beer!

This is one of the best pizza places I have been to in a long time. It is all homemade, the owner is super nice and it isn’t a chain which makes it so much better. Another thing the pizza slices are huge and you don’t have to pay 10 dollars for 5 slices just one and you are filled up. I love It here and would recommend to anyone who loves food.

What a pudgy name, and is their pizza better than Fresh Slice? Because personally I would rather try an independent joint than thin sliced thinly topped fresh slice… and I got lucky. Waited a couple minutes for the peperoni to make its way into my mouth. The cheese was flavorful, crust was crunchy and soft at the right places, not too chewy not too soft. I could tell it was handmade. This place is better than Megabite or Uncle Fatih’s. Yes it’s about 50cents more than those two chain shops but the taste is superior and the slices are larger. I’ll be back for more when I“m the area and you should opt for the fresh slices obviously.

This restaurant by far has the best foods(not just oysters, my friends; they have seafoods to steaks to burgers to homemade desserts) in the North Shore!!! I went for fish & chips and the waiter was right when he told me they do comfort foods but do it right from scratch(the fish was like tempura battered and was really crispy and thin). So I ended up having their homemade bread pudding and I think I’ll drive out to H.B. just for that. It was that good~~~ Anyways, for those looking for a great spot to eat in the North Shore, this is it.

Anyone watch that wild weatherman video from the east coast during that snowstorm? The classic«Oh Boy.» quote sums up this place. I travel quite often to the sunshine coast to visit family so I’ve meandered around Horse Shoe Bay. Usually I go to Ya Ya’s Oyster bar because it’s consistently great, but my brother wanted pizza so we tried this place. They had pizza by the slice under the glass but they may as well as called it painted cardboard in terms of how unappetizing it looked. But my bro was buying and I was hungry, so what the heck. I knew I was in for a ‘treat’ when the guy said it would be a few minutes while he reheats the pizza. «Oh Boy.» The taste matches the décor, grungy.
