My job is to help you become a better public speaker. Period.

I help sales professionals, competitive public speakers and businesses to tell powerful stories that connect them with their target audience. I work with clients to develop their speaking, speech crafting, editing, and presentation skills,

I also teach businesses and sales professionals how to use public speaking as a powerful part of their marketing and lead generation systems to effectively dominate an online niche or geographical community by:

1. Identifying the shared needs and interests of their target market (often not sales related)

2. Crafting compelling talks around their audience’s shared needs and interests

3. Identifying opportunities and venues for speaking to those interests and needs

4. Raising awareness of your products, services

5. Becoming a liked and trusted voice

And how to do all this without overt selling or annoying people.

History

Established in 2013.

I’ve been a well known public speaker here in BC for the last few years. Prior to starting my coaching business I was a 3 time finalist at the BC championships of public speaking. I’ve been featured on Global News, C.K.N.W. News 1130, and dozens of newspapers and publications across BC and Canada (as well as a few international mentions).

Prior to coaching, I had worked in the field of education for 13 years and mentored dozens of successful speakers,. But when sales professionals and competitive speakers began to seek me out for 1 on 1 coaching, I began to apply my significant educational background in understanding how people learn, along with my own extensive understanding of how effective public speaking works, to develop my highly effective speech coaching programs.

For the last year, I’ve enjoyed working with competitive public speakers and sales professionals looking to enhance their public speaking skills and add public speaking as a powerful part of their marketing efforts.

When I’m not busy with my speech coaching I continue to compete in the realm of public speaking. I’m presently working on making it to the 2014 world semi-​finals. I’m also a husband and father of 2 young children and really enjoy working with kids. In the past I have been an ultra marathon runner, competing in events like the Marathon Des Sables (a 240 km self sufficiency race across the Sahara). And occasionally, when good judgement fails, I get the urge to test myself my running across the occasional province or country.
