Legacy House Renovations

I’ve had a tough time finding a good, honest & reliable contractor to do small to medium sized jobs. The small guys start off well, and then end up ripping you off or not doing the job right. With the big guys you are lucky if they even want to come and give an estimate.
Legacy House Renovations is different.
When I contacted them by phone, the person who answered was quick to ask very pertinent questions regarding my job and suggested that he drop by that evening, after he was done at another job.
When he arrived we discussed what I wanted done. Basically I wanted to finish off an area under my bedroom which was originally supposed to be another room. I decided to keep the area open to use as a sort of covered patio instead, and so I just needed someone to install insulation & soffits on the ceiling as well as siding on two walls. I also wanted to close in what originally were to be closets and turn them into garden/​tool storage sheds.
Rafael took notes as we talked and made some suggestions of his own. The next day I received a detailed estimate via email. After agreeing on the scope of work we made an appointment for the following week.
Rafael showed up on time each day and finished the job on time and budget. He even did some extra work without charge, such as reinforcing a support beam that a previous contractor put in. It didn’t take very long to do it but it showed me that he has pride in his work and wants the job done right even if he didn’t initially start it.
My wife and I are very happy with the work that was done on our house and we know who we will call the next time we need work done, big or small.
