Ambleside Bistro

I was very fortunate to be their first customer at their Grand Opening. My eyes were treated to a clean, bright, modern place with a widescreen tv inside with wonderful paintings of cats on the walls. The owner Omar and his wife were very warm and attentive. I originally wanted a french onion soup but it was not available so I had the roasted garlic tomato soup instead. It was lovely and I took my time sipping it to savour the taste. I ordered one of their signature dishes, the brisket provencal baguette sandwich. It was made fresh, the brisket was juicy and tender. The sandwich contained a generous amount of brisket and full of flavour. I was not rushed even though they were running around getting ready for their grand opening. It felt special. They know how to take care of their customers with their service and their food. I wish them all the success they deserve. I will definitely go back there.
