Consign Torontois a mens and women’s designer consignment store. We specialize in high end designer items from labels including BCBG, Theory and Teenflo right up to Prada, Chanel, Fendi and Hermes. We carry accessories and clothing from size XXS to XXL guaranteeing a fit for everyone. We are a great place to find a designer handbag (Think Burberry and Celine) or a suit for the office. Have a big night out on the town planned then take advantage of our wide range of sky high heels, evening gowns and lots of costume jewelery arriving daily. For men expect to find silk ties starting at $ 40 and suits by Etro, Boss, Canali, Zegna and all your favourite Harry Rosen type labels. Looking to clear out your closet then bring your items to our store where our split is 5050 and pick up your money right away once an item sells. Our top sellers are sunglasses, handbags and jewellery. We accept items seasonally so when you shop with us we follow the same guidelines as typical retail stores.

History

Established in 2012.

Owner Dag Larsen wanted to give every man and woman the opportunity to wear beautiful clothing no matter what their budget might be. Being a personal shopper for 3 years and seeing how people loved the idea of buying gently worn versus new and saving a chunk of change he realized that there was a great business opportunity in consignment.

Consign Toronto opened its doors on June 1st, 2012 and has since expanded its menswear section, jewellery section, and shoe collections.

We became a go to spot for great office wear and killer handbags. From a wide range of vintage Celine to countless Louis Vuitton bags Consign Toronto continues to focus on offering great designer duds in impeccable condition at a fraction of retail.

Since opening we have been featured in Snap Toronto, City Post Magazine and on countless blogs.

As of February 2014 Consign Toronto has an Ebay store and operates out of a larger retail space at 884 Queen St. West and has since closed its first location.

Meet the Business Owner

Dag L.

Business Owner

He started blogging about fashion shows, stores and up and coming designers at the age of 18 which then landed him the position of creative director for Polysh Magazine (an online glossy) for 4 issues and worked on cover shoots, feature articles and styled stars including Mia Martina.

His styling has been seen in Bello Magazine, he’s worked with several photographers and has dressed models for their look books.

With a passion for personal shopping and styling Dag Larsen started dressing every day men and women for parties, play and work and started closet cleaning. After 3 years of working with individual clients he knew it was time to plant some roots and open his first retail space.

Launching Consign Toronto in 2012 the plan was to help people stay clutter free, make money on those goodies hanging in the closet never to be worn again and give people with shoe string budgets the opportunity to wear the best of the best at a fraction of the price.
