The Savoury is a fine British themed eatery located conveniently in Uptown Waterloo! We use only the freshest local ingredients to create homemade meat pies, sausage rolls, stuffed pretzels, samosas, gourmet soups, salads and much more! A big part of our business is also the importing of groceries, candy & chocolate from the UK. History
Established in 1995.
After working in various bars and restaurants across the KW area, I finally saved up enough coin for a place of my very own! I spent many years staring in the window of The Savoury having lived in this area my whole life! I had the pleasure of knowing both of the original owners, who were both absolutely amazing ppl. For me, The Savoury is a place that holds great memories and warm feelings and I hope over the years it will do the same for anyone that will walk through its doors… Well… Door!
A pie bistro originally inspired by British taste, I pride myself on keeping lots of traditional menu items while bringing in lots of modern ideas at the same time. Together I feel they make a quality menu with something for every taste bud.

A Passion for the food & service industry!
I’ve been working in local bars/restaurants since I was 17 years old! (Don’t ask how old I am… lol) It’s been my dream all the while to own my own space and be able to create my own menu. When The Savoury came up for sale I knew it would be a great starting point for learning the ownership side of things. I’ve loved every minute of owning this place. I’ve made some solid memories here. The chocolate & candy brought over from the UK is nothing short of the best. If you have a sweet tooth you will immediately be able to taste the difference between chocolate made here and chocolate made across the way! I love to cook & bake! I pride myself on creating/selling quality products/menu items. As an owner, my main goal Is to put a smile on anyone’s face that visits my shop. What more can you ask for?
