History
Established in 2004.
We are a sandwich restaurant established in 2004 in Waterloo, Ontario, Canada.
From the beginning our goal was to serve sandwiches made with the freshest, most nutritional and natural ingredients of the highest quality.
As much as possible we buy from local suppliers, including small businesses that have unique foods and are not mass produced. We also believe customer service is just as important as our products.
We train our staff extensively to listen to our customers and make our sandwiches as visually appealing as they are tasty.

From The Kitchener Record — March 26, 2014
When Val Strambu was driving a cab in Waterloo Region, more than a decade ago, it struck him that there was nowhere he could go to find an inexpensive meal that was also fresh, tasty and healthy.
The idea wouldn’t let go, and so, without any experience in the retail food business, he found a location and with a partner set up Quick Sandwiches, on King Street near University Avenue in Waterloo.
«I just like to eat well,» Strambu says.
One regular customer was Ben Sepehr, who like Strambu drove a taxi and was willing to travel a fair distance to find a decent meal.
«One time I was by myself in the store, and I had a rush of maybe six customers at the same time,» recalls Strambu.
Sepehr came in, quickly realized Strambu was busy, and without a word, slipped behind the counter, grabbed a pair of latex gloves and began to help out with the sandwich-making.
Strambu, who was looking for a new partner in the business, said he and Sepehr just clicked.
