Food is ok. Every plate is well-decorated with the fruits or yogurt. The menu is changed with the season. Each different season has different signature plates. The choice is variety. The signature smoothie is definitely good, fresh, delicious and good-looking. I have tried the egg Benedict, French toast, pancake, crêpe, and panini. All of them are perfect! The price is not so high, which is worth and considerable. The location is convenient, just located at uptown Waterloo. It is a good place for student who eat the food in Uw plaza everyday to change a taste. And there is a Waterloo park nearby, which we can hang out after the brunch. However, service sometimes is not perfect. We wait for our meals almost an hour and after the 2tables who came later than us. Although there not so many people in the whole place that period. The environment is good. The whole place is spacious and bright. It’s perfect for enjoying a brunch. The place is big, so are seats. So you don’t need to wait for a long term for a seat. The washroom is clean and convenient. This is definitely one of the best restaurants in KW region.

Fast and friendly service. Ordered the Samira Wake Up with white toast. Presentation was detailed and excellent. Fruit was also almost all super fresh and sweet. Great value for what you get; a large plate of assorted fruit with 2 slices of toast for $ 13 had lots of left overs. Only small complaint was the pear wasn’t ripe or sweet. Would definitely return and recommend.

They have recently changed their menu style and the new menu is much more easier to read than before. That is something that has made it easier for the eyes. Thankfully my friend made reservations for this place at 12:30pm on a Sunday and as such we could skip the line. Otherwise, the lineup is massive for this place, and hence I would highly recommend people to make a reservation. The orange juice was so fresh that it felt as though I was drinking juice directly from the orange than from anything else. As for the menu, whilst it is easy to read, it is hard to decide. You can genuinely pick anything on the menu and whatever you choose is going to taste really good. The two reasons why I am not giving this place a full five stars are because of the super long lineups and the long wait time(approximately 45mins) until the food arrives. Despite these two, the food is still worth the wait. Would definitely say that Cora’s is one of the best breakfast joints here in Waterloo.

Should have known better than to order eggs Benedict at a chain restaurant. The mushrooms were dry and shrivelled and the hollandaise had started to congeal. It didn’t even look palatable let alone taste it. The only draw for Cora’s is their heaping sides of fresh fruit.

I went to Cora’s twice in the past month. The first time I ordered a strawberry crêpe and second time I ordered a breakfast poutine. Unlike most places, what you see on the menu is exactly what you get served at Cora’s. I was pleased with both meals. The crêpe had a bit too much fruits for my preference but still tasted great. The poutine was pretty good as well. My toast was slightly burnt though. Overall, I enjoyed the food and service here. Nothing more, nothing less. Always a safe bet for breakfast & brunch.

Food’s fine I guess but what the heck with the service? So slow and 2 tables that came 20 mins after is already got food and finished eating. And we have been waiting for almost an hour for EGGSANDBACONANDPANCAKES like seriously? And when we came there was no line at the door at all.

I went to Cora’s last week for breakfast with my boyfriend. It wasn’t busy at all, unlike the location I went to in London a few years ago. We were seated right away and we were asked if we wanted to sit inside or outside, and then in the sun or the shade, and when we picked the shade, they told us we could move tables if we got too cold. The food was good, but not amazing. We had the spinach omelette and the Western skillet. Both were really good. I was really surprised by the quality of the fresh fruit — I hadn’t expected it to be bad, but it was very nice and fresh. Even if it doesn’t say you get fruit on the menu, you still get some. The service was amazing — very friendly and fast! Probably the best service I’ve had at a restaurant in as long as I can remember.

This place is alright I guess… kinda ticked me off when they wouldn’t substitute bacon for more fruit. How un-American(Canadian) is that? Also it’s expensive for what you get. Also located in that excuse for a mall.

Popular brunch breakfast in town. I’ve had breakfast at Cora’s several times in different locations. Food is decent, but nothing special, and I always feel kinda greasy afterwards. Maybe I’m just spoiled. Service is friendly. Usually there’s a line up on weekends but it moves pretty fast.

I always get great service here, and for me service trumps everything else. I go in weekdays and sometimes weekend and it’s consistent service. When regular wait staff remember details about you it makes you feel extra special. Always enough food to boot! :)

Cora’s is always pretty great, but I particularly enjoyed this Cora’s. I ordered the Buckwheat Mozza & Asparagus Crêpe(I am pretty sure) and it was delicious, hot, tasty and fast arriving. My com padres ordered a LOT of food too. I love that it looks exactly as it does from the menu and I am not shocked when the bill comes. Cora’s is like fine dining breakfast and to be honest, that is pretty Unique. Strawberry Wafflle is mad crazy! The Tuna Melt Sandwich was massive and smelled amazing! Few Issues here, but please come fill my bottomless coffee… please. So I think the line for this restaurant is completely reasonable(we always have to wait in line, it is a good chance to chat) The quality of the food is well worth waiting for. At other Cora’s there are not very many children *The menu is pretty adult* But at Cora’s Waterloo there were SOMANYWILDKIDS, at the table next to us there were 5 kids… no parents… all which were crawling under the table, one was kneeling on the table, and they were pretty much being the worst, Oh yes and throwing seeds at each other… The parents AKA Adults were sitting at a booth two booths down… I think Cora’s should make a rule that the kids have to sit with the parents. Otherwise there were some well behaved children in the restaurant I barely noticed. Cora’s is great, for everyone as it turns out…

I have been to this Cora’s several times. This restaurant looks, feels, and has good service just like the Chez Cora’s in Montréal, however, the food is not up to snuff. Meals have come out under-cooked and in one case, the entire table’s order had to be returned. Also, I find it odd that coffee isn’t included in certain meals, which can bump up the cost a couple dollars, but this is not the reason for the low rating. I have had a good breakfast there but the inconsistencies are atypical of what is expected from this franchise. Note that there can also be long lineups to be seated due to the university kids so plan in advance of going.

Great customer service, every worker kept asking us how our food was. They’ve definitely improved over the years. Really good atmosphere, they have a ton of seating so it is unlikely you have to wait to be seated. The portions are huge, though I have noticed that most of the menu items are pretty pricey. You could probably make all their menu items at home for ¼ of the price.

Food here is comparable to the rest of the Cora’s chain. Quite good and with lots of fruit. The place is big and can get quite busy on the weekend, but service is always friendly and efficient.
