I am a Certified Feline Master Groomer, trained in Greenville, South Carolina at the National Cat Groomers Institute of America, the first organization of its kind in the world, specializing exclusively in feline grooming. The purpose of the NCGIA (which was formed in 2007) is setting and maintaining cat grooming standards, providing training and education, and awarding certification when training requirements are met. I am proud of this certification because of what it stands for.
