Paired the Tod Creek cider with the swine burger(which has a teriyaki sauce and pineapple gruyère topping). Excellent combination! The cider is dry but refreshing, tasting fresh and natural. Husband had the pink bike cheeseburger with some add ons and enjoyed. Fried Mac and cheese with pink sauce a worthy appetizer. Wish we could have tried the fried Mars bar for dessert but the burgers were quite sizeable and had your choice of sides like salad, truffle fries, onion rings, etc. Great with kids as well as we brought our toddler.

This had to be one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. Great service, wonderful atmosphere and a quiet quaint place that has plenty of options to offer. I will certainly be coming back.

I was in a mood for truffle last night. The truffle fries were amazing, maybe the best I have ever had. Followed up with the truffle mushroom burger, it was very good, but a bit heavy on the sauce. Great spot for a burger and I will certainly be making a return trip.

Wasn’t particularly impressed. The onion rings tastes bitter and burnt, and the Moroccan veggie burger was nothing special. Also the coffee was cold, and the waitress was a bit off. She asked us questions she had already asked, and then randomly asked me if I wanted a box… I guess she thought I had finished eating but I was just resting between bites of food.(Gotta breathe too you know). She did admit to me that this was the third job she was working that day, and while I want to be sympathetic, why should the customers be the ones that have to deal with that? Came here on the recommendation of friends, but it may be a while before I give it another chance.

All I can say is this is the best burger place in the world. Don’t ever change pink bicycle I love you. Bison burger — total burgasm. Never had a more satisfying burger than at pink bicycle, that includes the veggie burgers. Everything is delish, the only thing I’d add would be don’t bother with sides, they’re nothing compared to the main event and the burgers are huge.

We’d just gotten back from Butchart and my pregnant self was ravenous after all the walking and then the forty-five minute drive back! I wanted a burger and the rest of my party wanted beer and Poutine. I looked around Unilocal, found this place with its 4⁄5 rating and was very satisfied. We did the short walk from Legislature in no time! Although I was slightly worried when we first peeked in that this tiny place wouldn’t have enough room for our party of six. Luckily, it wasn’t very crowded, it was just snug. But they made room for us immediately! And during our hour plus there, the place filled up and a line started to form! Hubby and I split the Lamb Burger with a side of Poutine. The was solid, good quality. But I have to say that I was disappointed that I couldn’t really taste this apricot pesto, as the bleu cheese took over everything. So I would probably try a different burger in the future. But the Poutine was great! The gravy was flavorful, there were plenty of melted, gooey cheese curds and the fried onions were crispy! They only offered one dessert, but boy did it sound good! Deep Fried Mars Bars! Hubby asked how big the serving was, trying to decided whether we should share or he should get his own. «It’s the size… of a Mars Bar?» the waitress replied. In that I’ve never had one, that didn’t really help me. Haha! Regardless, hubby opted to get his own. Thank goodness… Not that the serving was small at all! I just wanted my own! Melted, gooey perfection on the inside, surrounded my a very chewy exterior! I would definitely get this again!

Cute little restaurant, tables are quite close together which isn’t my fave feature of any restaurant. We have tried to go a few times on the weekend before and couldn’t get near the place. This time we went thru the week and had success! I had a chicken burger and my boyfriend had a beef burger. Both were huge and well crafted. We also shared a delicious poutine. The gravy is so tasty! I’m not even a huge poutine fan but I loved it at pink bicycle! Def a great place, if you’re in the mood for a gourmet burg.

We read of lot of great reviews for this place so we decided to give it a shot. Unfortunately it didn’t measure up. My wife had a ahi tuna burger which had a very small piece of tuna inside a very large bun. The tuna was totally overwhelmed by the slaw. I had the bison burger and it wasn’t anything special, it was a bit overcooked and dry, even for a lean meat like bison. Service was really good and was worth a star. Overall a pretty disappointing meal given all the strong reviews and recommendations.

Excellent again after our visit over 5 years ago. Had the maple salmon burger — delightful! Others in our group had the BBQ bison burger(rock solid!) and the mushroom burger(wonderful). House salad was enjoyable too. Bring your appetite and leave very satisfied.

Ugh, so disappointed. First of all, 17 degrees is a beautiful refreshing evening. It was oppressive and suffocating in this restaurant. We’d already been to two other places and decided to gut it out and wait for a table. Service was nice and the wait was short. That is as good as it gets. Place is loud with no air movement. Would have been nice to have some ice in my water. My husband ordered the bison burger and I ordered the ahi tuna sandwich. We both ordered the side salads which might have been the highlight. The Bison was dry, overcooked and under seasoned. The tuna was a tiny little piece of fish swamped in sauce and red onions swimming around on a giant stale bun. Once I scraped all the junk off of the fish and discarded half of the bun, the fish was actually a little less than overcooked and tasted good. We were in and out quickly, but with so many great options in the neighborhood, what a waste.

Freaking delicious. Went here with my best friend and got a cute seat inside. Since neither of us are big meat eaters, we both got a vegetarian option, of which they have three(Moroccan chickpea, Spicy black bean, and portobello mushroom). I got the black bean one and it was Very good, with a great balance of spicy blackbean patty and creamy chipotle mayo, and arugula. I probably could have used a tomato but it worked without. I also got the side salad, and it did not disappoint at all. Overall a well balanced and healthy feeling guilty pleasure dish. I’d love to come back to try their famed Salmon burger, and possibly a cocktail

This was the last stop on our cruise. So, as the saying goes, «When in Canada, do as the Canadians do!»… or something like that? Anyway, that can only mean one thing: POUTINE. We found this place on Unilocal(of course) and knew we had to try The Pink Bicycle’s poutine. This poutine was no joke… so so so so so good! The burger was pretty good too, heck even the salad was good! Who knew pumpkin seeds on a salad would make it taste so yummy? I guess I’ve been living under a rock on the East Coast of the USA. Overall, I’d be back if I didn’t live on the other side of the continent! :)

The Pink Bicycle was a step back in time when everyone was friendly and accommodating. Small restaurant that produces excellent food and great service. Server Jenna was pleasant and made the experience memorable. There is every type of burger you could imagine and enough that you leave feeling full. Mentioned on «You have to Eat Here» and it lived up to the hype. Highly recommend.

Tried Maple Salmon Burger. In my opinion… THE best burger I’ve ever had! Fresh, tasty, oozing with flavour. Who would have thought that I would find this in Victoria LOL. I would definitely come back!!!

On my way heading back home, I decided to try another Victoria burger place. The Pink Bicycle Gourmet Burger Joint seemed just like the place. It’s a small restaurant located off the main street of Blanshard in downtown Victoria. The parking situation here is like anywhere else downtown, meters or private parking lots. The inside dining area was kept relatively simple with wood tables and chairs matching their floors. It was dimly lit inside and on the quiet side as there weren’t many people dining here for lunch on Thanksgiving Day. I’ve read a couple different places that this was THE place to get a burger in Victoria, so I had high expectations going in. Their menu features a large array of different burgers with multiple types of proteins including vegetarian options. The burgers featured here have some very interesting ingredients with things like dates, leeks, fruit salsa and their house made sauces with great mixed flavors. The list of toppings you can add to their burger is very extensive as well. Their sides are also quite impressive with things like mac&cheese sticks, truffle fries, and pear spinach salads. Their menu is put together very well and offers something different for everyone. The honey mustard burger( ) was a good choice for my lunch. It was a very basic burger with only a slice of cheese along with some of their honey mustard sauce. I got it on the side so I could dip some of my French fries into it. Sauce was a bit thick, creamy, and had just the slightest hint of honey. The chicken breast was seasoned great and was super moist when biting into it. Very good chicken here, they cooked it perfect. The sesame bun they used for the sandwich was a bit excessive. Even though the bread tasted great and was fresh, it was too big and overtook the entire burger. On the side to accompany my burger I went with some regular poutine, seemed like a good way to end my trip in Canada. The poutine( ) here had quite a different taste from the previous one I had at Heron Rock. Here they had better tasting gravy, extra crispy French fries and the cheese curds were melted on top. I’m no poutine expert, but it was really tasty stuff. My friend had the Moroccan Veggie( )burger with the pear spinach salad on the side. She also made the comment that the bun was too big and since she isn’t a bread person, she took the top side of the bun off. The burger was decent according to her, but the side was more of her favorite. The pear spinach salad was excellent, one of the best salad’s she has ever had. While the prices are a bit stiff here with burgers running about $ 15 and toppings costing a whole extra $ 1 each, the burger I had was worth it. The ingredients they use here were all great stuff along with the sauces they add to burgers. The service at this restaurant was okay, the waitress was really good at explaining the menu and keeping our drinks refilled. The food took quite a while coming out but was worth it in the end. I don’t mind waiting for food that is done right.

For a quicker meal, the burgers here are great — I had the ahi tuna burger, which was light and quite tasty. My complaint, which I made known to the staff, was with the sides. I ordered the half salad/half fries, for $ 1 extra. In my opinion, the salad is incredibly small, coming in a tiny cup. In addition, the amount of fries in this«half» portion was minuscule. I was with a friend, who had a full order of fries, which was standard for the price of the burger. Her portion of «full» fries” was probably 2.5x the amount that I had for my «half» portion. When I inquired about this, the server did acknowledge and agree that the amount I received was far less than half of my friend’s, and so she offered me more fries at no extra cost. Overall, the burger was great — I would just stick to my gluttonous meal and go for the full fries as opposed to trying to sneak some healthy salad in as well.

Stopped in for lunch since I saw it on «YOUGOTTAEATHERE». I was working over here and from Vancouver and wanted check it out. Well I wasn’t disappointed. I had the Cheeseburger and added bacon(of course) and had the Mac & Cheese sticks(a must) the patty was great and you can tell its homemade, the Mac & cheese sticks were, well… Deep fried goodness. Highly recommend checking this place out

We usually go to Bin4 for burgers, but the vegetarian in our group hates their tofu and swears by Pink Bicycle’s veggie options so we went there instead! It was almost 30 degrees outside, and inside the restaurant they only had a ceiling fan and a tiny electric fan for the entire place. Combined with all the people there, it was unbearably hot. The service was super friendly and quick, but the food was meh. The fries were way too salty and some of them were really hard/stale. The non-vegetarian burgers were way overcooked and dry. The portion size of their side sauces were really small too. I really wanted to like this place, but there wasn’t really anything that good about it.

Great spot and superior burgers. The beef patties are local, thick, and juicy, but I had the lamb with blue cheese and really enjoyed it. The truffle fries here are amazing too. This place is popular and for good reason, on a Thursday night we had to wait to get in. The vibe is a bit hipster/bohemian. I’d go back.
