History
Established in 1986.
In 1986 there stood a 65 foot Monkey Tree at the top of a small rise in the neighborhood of Sannich. The pub was built in that year, and the name of the Pub seemed an obvious choice. The tree was removed 10 years later due to local development of the road system, but as the tree did then, the pub still stands as a beacon to those seeking a cold beer, good food and great company.
Our liquor store was opened the same year, and provides a wide selection of libations to serve the public.
The landmark liquor store was the first non government store in B.C.
