Starbucks

Bland Coffee, the location is also very dull. Paid WiFi, nothing special about it. Even if you are a Starbucks fan trying going to the lower Cook Street Starbucks, they at least have an atmosphere to speak of.

One of 3 locations with a clover machine. Do your self a favor and try it; it may be the best cup of coffee you have ever tried. Staff is friendly and helpful. One of the wraps I like was sometimes sold out so when I asked they upgraded their order. 5 stars from me.

I like this Starbucks for a lot of reasons 1) it is walking distance 2) location location location 3) all the Baristas are nice
The only drawback is that it can get crowded inside, fortunately there is seating outdoors as well.
The last time I went there the Barista made witty Batman joke. My Americano was perfect too! I’ve always admired people who work in such busy work environments and are able to have positive attitudes despite being tired and on their feet all today.
Customer service matters :)

While most Starbucks are relatively good but occasionally slip on quality, the Mackenzie and Quadra location holds to a consistently high standard.
The staff are very friendly, the drinks they serve are always properly made and, unlike most Starbucks that I have been to, the blenders don’t require the special attention of the baristas to shake out ice chunks (I no longer have to request that my frappucinnos be double-​blended now that I frequent this location).
The shop it self is nice and large with plenty of seating including a table shaped to accommodate wheelchair customers. The location of the shop, in a corner nook of the strip mall, also gives it a large patio with seating for many more patrons.
One thing to keep in mind, if you are driving, is to try to avoid the upper lot. It has a limited amount of room and traffic flows in a one-​way loop which makes it awkward. Instead park on the lower parkade level where there is always lots of parking and your car will stay cool and/​or dry depending on the season.
