I’ve been looking for a pizza place like this is YYJ for a long time. It absolutely destroys Pizzeria Prima Strada and Famoso, which I’d say are the two closet places to Standard Pizza in terms of the style of the pizza (thin crust, Neapolitan). It’s safe to say that this is my new favourite spot for pizza, and dare I say, the best pizza in town? It’s a little off the beaten path, but well worth the hunt. The ‘White Pizza’ will change your life.

Came to visit family and had pizza from here, was very good. Loved the tender and chewy pizza dough, the crust was delicious. Made in a fire brick oven and had a wonderful flavor from the fire without being over blackened on the bottom. The tomato sauce was a great balance of acidic and sweet and perfectly proportioned to the dough and toppings. We had the Kale, which was a wonderful combination of kale chips and pizza almost, with a white sauce and lemon drizzled on top. The margarita was delicious as well. The only one that wasn’t fantastic was the special squash and leek pizza, the squash was sort of devoid of flavor and was undercooked. Overall though wonderful pizza and a great price, will be back for sure.
