History

Established in 1985.

Proline was founded in April of 1985 by Eric Spurling, our President, and a former partner to provide a professional alternative to existing management firms. Proline’s goal is to provide owners with «a professional investment in your property». We accomplish this goal by providing pro-​active management services from professionally qualified and licensed property managers. Proline’s quality of service has allowed us to continue to grow since our inception, from the first client to our current portfolio of over 6,000 residential units and a small commercial portfolio.

Eric Spurling, FRI, R.I. (B.C.), CRF, CPM — President

Our President and Managing Broker has had considerable experience in the management and real estate fields and continues to be active in the day-​to-​day management of the company. Eric has been involved in the real estate industry, property management and the lending and asset management field in Victoria for the past 35 years.

Eric holds diplomas from the University of British Columbia in Urban Land Economics in both the property management and appraisal specialty areas. Eric also holds recognized professional designations in these areas and in Real Estate Finance from both the Real Estate Institute of Canada and the Real Estate Institute of B.C. Eric has also earned the CPM (Certified Property Manager) designation, which is awarded by the Institute of Real Estate Management. This is the highest recognition of professionalism in the property management field awarded in North America.
