Panorama Recreation promotes individual and community health through recreation. Our flagship facility has a state of the art aquatic complex (pool), two skating arenas, weight room, fitness stuidio, indoor and outdoor tennis courts.

In addition, we offer a multitude of community recreation programs such as art, dance, culture, health, fitrness, wellness, camps, leadership, first aid, birthday parties, and the list goes on and on.

History

Established in 1977.

The Peninsula Recreation Commission is a partnership of the municipalities of Sidney, North Saanich and Central Saanich, which are located just north of Victoria, B.C. on the Saanich Peninsula. The Commission serves the 36,000 residents in these municipalities as well as the 2,400 residents of the Pauquachin, Tsawout, Tseycum and Tsartlip First Nations. Funding for the Commission’s operations comes from user fees and requisitions from the three municipalities.
