We have a large selection of mattresses, including memory foam and latex. We can cut foam to fit any space.

Additionally we provide full upholstery services, including commercial and residential. Custom headboards and valances. Bring us your ideas, and we will bring them to life.

Our team of qualified employees will be happy to assist you, with your mattress or upholstery needs at either of our two convenient locations, in Westshore or Downtown.

We offer free delivery within the Greater Victoria area, including Sooke and Sidney

History

Established in 1974.

We initially got our start running an Upholstery business, out of a small shop in the back yard of the family home.

As our business continued to grow, we re-located to the Westshore. We added the sale of quality foam mattresses, to the operation of our full upholstery services.

In 2014 we were pleased to add a second location at 2103 Douglas St, (corner of Pembroke & Douglas)

I bought a mattress at the branch on Douglas Street for a wall bed. Never took it out of the plastic wrap. When the wall bed was installed a week later, the installer said he wouldn’t recommend a foam mattress. I called McGeachie’s to see if they would take it back. They wouldn’t. They also said there is a no-return policy clearly stated on the invoice, which is not true; if there had been, I wouldn’t have asked about returning it. This rules-are-rules approach (especially when they don’t tell you what the rules are) is not customer-friendly, in my opinion.

Ten months ago, my husband and I looked all over Victoria for a reasonably priced natural latex mattress and wooden bed frame, and ended up in Langford at McGeachie’s Foam. It’s not a fancy-looking place but if you are like us, you’d rather pay for excellent quality goods rather than a slick store. Delivery and setup were free and everything arrived and was done on time. The only problem has been the bed frame is about 3″ longer than the mattress so the mattress tends to move, but we haven’t bought the headboard yet and I believe that will take care of the gap. We LOVE our latex mattress, couldn’t be happier. The service and quality at great at this business, we will be back for that headboard and soon will replace our daughter’s bed with latex from here, too.
