This place had the best chicken! I wish they still were here :( The black bean noodles and seafood were great as well. Easy to order on the iPad and the staff was super friendly.

pretty sure they lied to me what was in their food. The tofu comes with unadvertized beef, which I found out about beforehand. They said they could make it without the beef. I’m pretty sure that either meant picking out the beef, or making the dish still using beef broth. Either way whatever was in the food, it made me sick. Wont go again. The ipads are more of an inconvenience than anything once the novelty wears off.

Wasn’t sure it was a Korean restaurant after I ate here. It was more like eating Western Chinese food smothered with corn starch sauce. It’s definitely NOT authentic Korean — they didn’t even have bimbimbap! The price is also double than at authentic Korean restaurants in Vancouver. Never coming back here.

We were pretty intrigued by this place, which opened recently. The Atmosphere. Beautifully renovated space. It was a weeknight, only 2 other tables occupied, yet we were irritatingly seated RIGHT near the front door. Noticed that patrons arriving after us were seated near the entrance as well, even though there were loads of open tables elsewhere in the restaurant. The stereo was piping an assortment of top hits from the nineties, lol. I don’t think I’ve sat through the entire length of Celene Dion’s ‘my heart will go on’ since the movie Titanic. The noise from the television was distracting. Occasional loud, non sequitur tunes emanating from the kitchen added to the discordant soundscape. The Menu. The iPad menu was kind of cool, although the execution was suboptimal. My husband ordered a Sapproro through the ipad, only to be confusedly informed that hey didn’t have that beer. How difficult would it have been to remove the unavailable item from the electronic menu? Usually I love small, focused menus, but this one seemed a little too limited. The beer selection is pedestrian. Must improve that aspect of the menu this restaurant wishes to capitalize on their k-pub/chicken/wings cachè. The only positive to the iPad menu was that it reduced interaction with the servers. The service was, in a word, awkward. Any queries about the menu item were oddly rebuked. They didn’t seem to want to share any more information about the menu, and were confused by simple questions. When our food arrived, she came from an odd angle to the table, making it necessary for us to take the plates from her hands. Weird. This happened every time an item was brought out, why not come around to the more easily accessed side of the table? The Food. Passable. The rice is boring, needs the option to have some kind of sauce, perhaps the Korean wasabi sauce on it. I realize that rice is, well, rice, but some sauce options would have been excellent. Had a Korean roll that came out the INSTANT we submitted our order. Suspicious. It was alright, could have used some kind of sauce on the rolls. Very, very dry. And how was this dish«made» so quickly? The fried chicken was actually really lovely. Light and a nice fresh topping of greens. It was the one truly positive aspect of the visit. I can see why the restaurant seems to showcase their chicken dishes. Upon departure, my husband waited by the entrance while I used the restroom. The same server that we interacted with a few times over the preceding hour asked him of he wanted a table for one! Hello! He was just one of her few customer for the past hour! In general, servers seemed sweet but extremely inexperienced. I will give this place another chance. They do have a lot of work to do in refining their menu, and training their servers. Definitely getting the chicken next time. Going to be asking for a table further from the door, however!

This restaurant does everything right, with unbelievably quick service and delicious food, I had no idea what I was in for. with food very suited to sharing and an effective iPad serving method this is definitely worth the trip. Although I do question the combination of chicken wings and touch screens. An awesome restaurant over all.
