History
Established in 1996.
Established by Jim and Lucy in 1996, Jim and Dawn bought the business in 2005, and the current owners Duncan and Laura purchased October 2012.
Duncan has been fermenting wine, cider, and beer for about 10 years before he and his wife bought a business, they love it and are glad they did so. Come in and let them help craft your perfect beverage!

Business Owner
Duncan has been fermenting most things with some amount of sugar for roughly a decade. He loves the science behind fermentation, and has developed an extensive knowledge of the field.
He loves helping people discover the hobby, and is even more excited when they start experimenting with different things. Come in and see if he can help you get started.
Laura got a business degree from UVic, and worked at a UBrew throughout her degree. Although she isn’t as knowledgeable as her husband in the actual task of fermenting, she knows the product and is happy to help you choose something that will be enjoyed by yourself and friends. You may also see their two kids about the store, Freyja and Leander.
