Gala Fabrics is a retail fashion fabric store. We carry fabrics and notions used for sewing, quilting and crafts. Some of the fabrics we carry are wools, silks and laces as well as an extensive eco-​friendly fabric collection such as bamboo, organic cotton, tencel, nettle and hemp. Check out our selection of quality quilting cottons priced at $ 6/​m. Suitable for PJ wear, kids’ clothes, skirts and blouses as well as quilting projects.

Meet the Manager

penny L.

Manager

Penny has always been interested in fashion sewing. She started sewing ‘on her mother’s knee’ and continues to sew to this day. (Check out the in-​store displays!) Before joining Gala Fabrics, Penny successfully completed the fashion design program at the Helen Lefeaux School of Fashion Design in Vancouver. Her primary interest is garment sewing but she has also dabbled in quilting.
