Mixed feelings. Bed bugs in many rooms, much work being done which makes it noisy and a drunken bum living there. Price is good for Victoria, they need to get the bed bugs dealt with. One family has moved 3 times and another twice.

Best one we had stayed in while there. Tryed out 2 others. Stayed in a comfortable adorable 2 queen room. The outdoor pool was better then expected went quite a few times. If I ever come again though would rather stay in the cabins or whatever you would call them as sister in law had booked one and ended up staying one night with her in that with the 2 rooms living room and fridge whatever area it was but to get back to our original stay I found It hard to get into the rooms with the key which got rather frustrating at times. Didn’t appreciate the guys smoking pot out front in broad daylight or the parties at night. We stayed in the back and the housekeeping was pretty much non existant. She either didn’t come some days or asked us some days if we needed anything. The coffee was rather poor, the free breakfast is definitely something you could not have everyday as their choices were rather slim so some days just went to go grab a coffee or juice. Which Is another thing was nice to go sit on their balcony off the breakfast area throughout the day. The laundry area is off back which is kind of small and way overheated but again just go sit in balcony area while you wait for you clothes. Needs some improvements but for price it’s a good place to stay and when I got extremely sun burned rexall is just a block away

Conveniently located between downtown Victoria and golf courses, was pleasantly surprised at the friendly, comfortable, clean affordable place to stay. Room had a full blown kitchen w/cold fridge and freezer. Sadly, lacked a microwave. Breakfast was basic breads, muffins, dry cereal, hard boiled eggss, precooked waffles but for the money what can be expected? It does show its age in the stairs, carpeting but the room was OK, Lights were ample and bright and wi-fi good. I shall return!

The most amazing service and best hotel. Hanna is an angel. Kayak overbooked the hotel. she didn’t have a room for us and couldn’t find anything else in victoria, so she let us stay in the room she sometimes sleeps in for back to back shifts at a discount. She saved us so much hassle! The best hotel experience I’ve ever had.

Pet friendly! Very important for me. Clean, comfortable rooms with free wifi, simple continental breakfast, cable etc. Lots of ample parking, waterfront gorge view and smoke free rooms and suites. I enjoy staying there and will return!

Room was clean. Plumbing worked fine. Staff was professional. But I can’t give this three stars. The«free breakfast» was lousy. The coffee was weak(no taste to it). The only protein options were boiled eggs and 2% milk. There needs to be less space devoted to condiments and more space devoted to something meaty(bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs). I usually don’t buy a breakfast when staying at a place with a free breakfast, but for this stay, I did. Go to the Blue Fox(it’s a 20-minute drive into town) and get a real breakfast.(See my review there.)

3.5 stars overall. Ample free parking. Stayed there 5 nights, the free breakfast items were very limited and became boring. Clean and comfortable, we used our accumulated points for this stay. We like the Choice Hotels chain.
