Took my lens in for an evaluation and I was told it would only take 3 — 4 business days. After a week I didn’t hear anything from them, I called the store. They final did an evaluation while on the phone but they tried to low-​ball me with ridiculous offer. Don’t bother bringing your lens for evaluation. You won’t get fair value from those guys.

I live in Vancouver but I try to save my business for Camera Traders when I come through town. It’s a great shop with a regularly updated second-​hand camera selection. Super nice guys with a good selection of used equipment. It’s a magical little shop – highly recommended!

San Diego, CA
Located in Victoria’s Market Square, and tucked down an alley, Camera Traders have been around for over a decade now, and it shows. Their small shop has an exhaustive inventory of every sort of film and digital body you could expect, and an even greater array of glass. A friend became smitten with a used Mimiya that he purchased it on the spot for some medium format fun. If you’re moderately into photography and appreciate the film aspect, be sure to check this store out, the staff is incredibly knowledgeable and friendly.
