Was asked to go to the back of the line because i was a white male. By the time they got to me, my coffee was cold.

petty and racist owner. Just see their instagram. You'd hope the coffee was ok but even that sucks. Burnt and uninteresting flavour.

After frequenting Seattle’s coffee hipster locations, and not wanting to settle for Starbucks, we were on a hunt for hipster coffee. We came across Bows & Arrows, based off of limited Unilocal reviews. We had a car, so we said– sure, why not, let’s go! Bows & Arrows is located outside of downtown Victoria– in fact, it seems to be located right next to some office buildings. We found some parking down the street from it, and walked into their garage. Yes, it’s literally like a garage, with their coffee roastery in the back. In fact, when we got there, the owners must have been trying their coffee for the day, as we saw and heard a lot of the fast slurping done, when they taste their coffee. We looked at each other and instantly knew it was a cool place. I got a pourover, he got a drip coffee. And the total was five bucks. Canadian. WHAT?! I said. Jeez, in the States, I totally overpay for my pourovers! And man, the quality of that coffee– for THAT cheap! If this place was in the States, they totally go charge double the price and people would still buy it. It’s really really good. But my pourover was fantastic– absolutely fantastic. We enjoyed it so much that we bought a bag of beans to take back, all the way back to the Midwest. if you’re in Victoria and need a place for a hipster cup of great pourover coffee, make the trek to Bows & Arrows.

Cool little spot north of all the Innner Harbor hubbub. I was seeing Bows and Arrows coffee around the coffee shops in Victoria so I figured to just hit the source. Had a couple of pour overs, enjoyed listening to the music coming from the record player(an incredible selection of records)), and left with a bag of beans to bring home. Need a place like this in Boise.

Awesomely adorable little place with a single large picnic table situated between the coffee bar and the roaster. Staff are friendly and down to earth. Prices are economical for EXTREMELY fresh pour-over coffee. As this is primarily a roaster, their hours are limited. Most of their business is selling beans to other shops and stores so no late night study sessions here.

Could you add "racist" to that.

The team at Bows & Arrows know how to roast. They consistently turn out product that stands tall amongst the best micro-roasters around. If you get a chance to sample their beans at a local coffee house don’t pass up the chance to get hooked.

My go to is an Almond Milk Latte and there is only one other place who can make a latte like these guys. Smooth, rich and the milk isn’t airy. It’s perfect. Coffee is really well balanced and is roasted perfectly. Great space where you can get a feel for the roasting process and there are also always great tunes playing on the record player.

Their focus is coffee in bulk but they also have a wonderful airy open space to enjoy a well made coffee in. The owners Amber and Drew(there is one other partner but their name escapes me) are experts in their field. Amber is often called upon to judge barista competitions around the world. Alright, so maybe that kind of thing might not impress you — but, this I have to say: Great coffee, unpretentious service, and owners who care greatly about their product. Winner.
