I craved Indian food. All the restaurants that I wanted to try for brunch aren’t open until after 5pm on the weekends. The Blue Fox was my next option, but their wait time was expected to be over an hour. People still stood around the street and growing the line(no joke). I didn’t know what to eat. A shawarma poster pulled me into Beirut Express, but I like falafel. The falafel was unreal with flavor, however, I didn’t see any herbs. They rolled huge chickpea balls with a homemade pickle and salad in whole wheat pita. The nubby layers came together extremely well. But still, I needed a bottle of ice tea. My meal was excellent. Beirut Express surprised me. They were well decorated and furnished, which is rare for a fast food joint. Good music and customer service too.
