History

Established in 1994.

Paul Da Costa founded the Aveda Institute Victoria with a vision of creating the finest beauty institute in Canada, located in Victoria.

At the Aveda Institute Victoria, we take a genuine interest in the people we work with. We cultivate an atmosphere of mutual respect and we make it our policy to always find time for people. We believe that our student’s formal education here is just the beginning of our relationship. We aim to prepare students to step out into the work force with confidence, but we hope we have built a relationship with them which will last long after their courses are complete.

Roxana D.

Manager

Roxana’s career in the beauty and wellness industry began in 1995 following her graduation from the Esthetics program at the internationally acclaimed Aveda Institute Victoria. Roxana’s career journey has earned her the respect and admiration of many leaders in the industry.

Since her start as a professional Esthetician, Roxana has served several key roles, including Instructor, Supervisor, Skin and Spa specialist for Alternative Wares; formally an Aveda Distributor, Education Director for both the Aveda Institute and Distribution and lastly her current position as VP of Education and Operations. Roxana has and continues to receive extensive instructional, technical and business training through Aveda Corporation and has also completed the Business Administration Program at the University of Victoria. At Aveda Spa Congress 2004, Roxana was awarded the «Healing Touch Award»
