History
Established in 1968.
Atlas was started in 1968 by Dick Hordyk as a TV repair center. Over the years it has evolved into Victoria’s premier Audio/Video destination. Today it remains locally owned and in the Hordyk family. Atlas belongs to a major buying group that allows it to be competitive with the biggest box stores with the added advantage of very experienced and highly knowledgeable staff. Many staff members have spent their entire careers in the industry. Atlas continues to operate by the Ethos adopted by Dick back in 1968 of «take care of the customer first». Atlas enjoys a highly loyal client base as a result.
