I went to get my down coat dry cleaned. It costed be about $ 40.
Unfortunately, they only do basic dry cleaning services. The sewing and alterations part is where I take away the stars. The zipper of my above mentioned down coat was broken so I asked for it to be replaced. The lady at the reception measured and gave me the estimated cost of about $ 47 which is a bit pricey imho. But that’s not the worst part. They asked me to go see a cordonnerie to get the buttons removed next to the zipper since they didn’t want to risk damaging it. So I will have to pay extra to get the buttons removed/​reattached after zipper replacement which idk adds how many $$$…
A friend suggested another place which I hope does everything instead of running around in –30C temperature without a decent winter coat! :(
