Hills Coiffure & Spa

Went to this salon based on a recommendation from my boyfriend and his mom, this is definitely the best salon I have been to. The hairstylist was super nice, took the time to sit down and talk to me about what exactly i wanted done with my hair, she also saved me some money but dry cutting my hair before dying it, and perfecting the cut after. The store is super well kept and clean. I have recommended it to many of my friends and I am always going to get my hair done there!!!

The salon itself is gorgeous! Very swanky, especially for Verdun. I came in for a pedicure. They found me an appointment quickly and were relatively on time when I arrived. The gentleman at the reception is awesome.
I was a bit disappointed by my pedicure; terrible colour selection, the woman seemed in a rush, was rough and spent a good chunk of my relaxing time telling me how nasty other salons are.
I might come back for a different aesthetician, but I’ll for sure try another place first.

Went and got my eyebrows done today, and was so pleased with everything! Looking for a new place to get my hair done, waxing, massages etc. Had some bad experiences in the past, so was a bit nervous, but will be going back for all services again! The staff was amazing and super friendly, and the salon was stylish and über clean. The aesthetician was amazing, friendly, knowledgable, and gave great skin advice and recommended some products for my skin type as well. I can’t wait to go back and get my hair cut and continue my services there.

I found Hills sort of randomly, looking for a place to fix my chipping shellac in a hurry before a date. I googled «Wellington shellac» and the first hit was this great little blog post,
. Looked nice. I called, knowing it was very last-​minute, but they were able to accomodate me. The service on the phone was so warm and professional it made a great first impression.
Walking in, I was greeted with a bright smile by Sophie, who paid my parking meter out of the till and gave me a luxurious hair treatment and a blow-​dry while I waited for my nail appointment. Little did I know I had just come across the best hairdresser in the city. Sophie has a great eye and a very keen and perceptive ability to understand what someone wants. I felt so comfortable with her that I came back a week later and trusted her to bring my hair back to blonde. I walked out of the salon tonight with the same sunkissed color I had when I was a little girl, subtly highlighted, with a healthy, beautiful cut. I can’t believe what a great job she did. It looks so natural!
As for the nail appointment, Zohra is another amazing find. She was studying to be a cosmetic surgeon, but stopped to pursue esthetics instead. She absolutely loves beauty. You can imagine how impeccable her hygiene is and her technique and attention to detail are immaculate. Imagine, an esthetician with a surgeon’s training! Once again, I was struck by the warm, bright, friendly, courteous service. She was wonderful, and I have already referred her to two new clients.
I read another review that coincidentally was posted today and I do not understand how its possible to have a negative experience at this salon. They even use the best products, Kerastase and Dermologica. I ahve no idea what could have gone wrong because my two experiences there have been, just, wow.
Sophie for hair, Zohra for nails and anything esthetic. I am hard to please, trust me, you won’t be disappointed!
