Happy to see something other then your typical box store restaurant in the area. Décor is very modern, with a open kitchen so you can see what’s going on. The flat screen TVs with the blue jay game seemed a little out of place. Not sure if they’re trying to be a sports bar, or a fine dining bistro. The food was really good, there was a good variety of options. Surprisingly large portions. The service at times was very good. At one time during our experience the waitress let us know that a certain dish was no longer available. However the chef came out of the kitchen and provided us with an alternative option that he was willing to put together. But on the flip side, they closed the kitchen without telling us, and we weren’t able to order dessert. And it was only 10:00pm on a Saturday night. Another positive was, that the pricing was very reasonable given the quality. My wife and I had a cocktail, appetizer and main each, as well as a half liter of wine between the two of us and it cost us roughly $ 115. overall, I’d suggest supporting the place, simply because there’s not enough of these sorts of restaurants in Vaughan, but there certainly room for improvement.
