Business Owner

Dr. David Walt was born and raised in Thornhill. He received his dental (DDS) degree from the University of Western Ontario, graduating first in his class and receiving the Gold Medal. Dr. Walt completed his orthodontic training at the University of Colorado, where he received both his Specialty Certificate and Master of Science Degree. It was also during this time that Dr. Walt’s years of research into his own case culminated in his decision to attempt correction of his bite again — this time using braces in conjunction with corrective jaw surgery. The experience was positively life changing and gave Dr. Walt a unique and very personal understanding of how orthodontics can radically transform one’s appearance and smile. In addition to practicing orthodontics, Dr. Walt is a «die-​hard» Blue Jays fan, as well as enjoys working out and skiing. He is also an Adjunct Clinical Professor in the Department of Orthodontics at Western University.
