Rosticceria Dolce E Salato

This is an Italian Tavola Calda/​Self Service located in Vaughan. The owners are extremely friendly and the service quick and personable. The place is really easy going and is a great option for a quick lunch or take-​out. They offered us two types of focaccia to start and panettone after the meal.
The day I went they had prepared pasta e fagioli, two types of veal spezzatino, grilled chicken, a large array of vegetables like broccoli, green beans, and cicoria, veal sandwiches, and panini with cold cuts. The food, though respectable and obviously homemade, was a bit expensive. Three of us spent $ 58 drinking only water, ordering 3 main dishes of roast chicken and vegetables, and 2 pasta e fagioli between us. Mind you I have been out of the city for a while and may have lost touch with how much food costs here. I have also been told that the food is generally of a higher quality and that it may have been an off day.
I’d definitely come back if I wanted a quick lunch in the neighbourhood, mostly because of the great staff and reliable product.
