Retire-​At-​Home has a time-​honoured reputation of providing seniors and their families with home health care solutions that make their lives easier. Founded by a nurse, our total care approach helps seniors keep their independence at home, while providing families with peace of mind and some relief from the stress they so often feel.

Our caring, experienced Client Care Managers in Richmond Hill and Vaughan are your connection to the health care community. They will work closely with you to manage all of your health care needs. They will meet with your family regularly (no charge with ongoing service) to ensure complete satisfaction.

Meet the Business Owner

Arja L.

Business Owner

Arja Maria Lindfors was born in Sweden and moved to Canada at the age of thirteen. She is a graduate of the University of Western Ontario as well as a certified TESL teacher.

Arja has dealt with both the challenges of personally caring for an elderly parent as well as supporting an elderly parent remotely. In the late 90’s, her mother was diagnosed with cancer, and was cared for at home until almost the end. Her life ended in the caring environment of Hill House Hospice, where Arja was able to be part of that team that tended to her.

Her father lives in Sweden, and a couple of years ago, his health deteriorated. Coupled with dementia, he was forced to move to a long term care facility.

These experiences have made Arja acutely aware of the struggles in providing care and comfort for the sick and the elderly. Through Retire-​At-​Home, she is looking forward to providing a choice for seniors, and peace of mind for families.
