Prestige Flowers

As regular customers of this flower shop, this Valentine’s Day was a complete disaster!
We are regulars here, because we usually get beautifully wrapped bouquets, she’s (the owner) is known for adding the little pins with ‘crystals’ into her roses and her flowers are generally in good shape. And she has a specific way of wrapping them, so clearly the women has been in business for a while and is experienced! (As a professional once, my self, in my day,) more on that later
This Valentine’s Day was something more then a complete And unfortunate disaster!
With the roses that is!
We got 2 bouquets, one for me and one for my mother, who happens to celebrate her birthday on the very same day as Valentine’s Day!
(I have attached a picture of what my roses looked like the very next morning! Basically they were dead!) and looked super unhealthy last night, starting to brown and the tips of the pedals and to soften as well as slowly dropping they heads!
As mentioned before — I’ve worked in a flower shop all through high school and college back in my days, I can clearly tell you, and I personally made sure– those flowers were kept in water from the second they left the shop, they were freshly cut, they were also kept in a cool place. Those roses were so which were inflated in price were just SOOO old!
That’s what makes this very disappointing! …
You should not be selling old flowers at the inflated holiday price, when you should be getting fresh flowers shipped to you in cases! And believe me usually the back room and fridges would be so swamped at any flower store ! At Valentine’s Day or during busy holidays– there should be absolutely no room for old flowers! Or even for workers to walk around!
So how these bouquets (which were pre wrapped– who knows how long ago) made it to the valentines shelf! (Fridge)?
It’s a shame and should not have been sold to regular
customers, correction sold to anyone at such a high holiday cost! Or any cost what so ever!
Very disappointing!
Waste of money! Didn’t even get 1 full day out of it!
P.s it would have been an accident or ‘fluke’ if it was just my bouquet…
But it was 2 purchased at the same time.

Ordered their purple roses on valentines day and was surprised how nice they stayed for almost 2 weeks!
