Came here with their annual February coupons($ 10 for two large ice creams with unlimited toppings) which makes it fairly priced in my opinion. Service was excellent, the lady was very attentive to what we asked for and even give suggestions as to what could make our ice cream taste better. I’d recommend the Nutella/cheesecake mix with cookie dough and brownies as toppings.

Came here on a sunny day with my girl to satisfy our ice cream craving. This cute little shop is located in a mini upscale looking plaza across promenade mall. The man serving us was extremely nice and gave us samples of the many different flavors they have to offer. He also told us great recommendations of what goes well together. I got the birthday cake as it has always been a favourite of mine at cold stones. The beauty of this place is that you get unlimited add ins. I got sprinkles, cookie dough, and double kit kat. It came up to about 6 bucks for a medium but it had a great creamy taste. The red velvet I sampled was also super yummy. My order was the perfect size and the service was great. I’d definitely come back. They have a couple tables outside that are perfect for people watching.

We enjoy ourselves here. Ice cream is good but the Lineups are long and the price is outrageous.

Got a groupon for $ 18 for a large cake, usually $ 36+. Called before to see how long they need to order. They said 3 days, but you can come by and pick up any of the large cakes in the freezer that are made fresh. I went by today, got great parking right in front, went in and picked up a Cookies’n’Cream(COOKIES ‘N’ CREAM — The classic duo of chocolate and vanilla are the inspiration for this flavorful treat. Crunchy Oreo® cookies are swirled throughout our smooth Vanilla Ice Cream.) cake. It was only $ 18 with the Groupon and the woman was fast and helpful. I will def go back to try other cakes if we like it tonight! Looks great, can’t wait to try it tonight!

The first(and only) time I’ve been to Marble Slab before this one was in 2002, when I was in Greenville, South Carolina. This was before the days of Coldstone and other mix-in spots, and boy was it a novelty! Marble Slab seemed to bypass other places I’ve since lived, and while Coldstone is similar, there’s something nostalgic for me finding a Marble Slab. There was only one guy working the counter when we arrived; then again, we were the only customers since it was snowing out. He took our orders one by one and mixed in to perfection. The prices are higher than other frozen novelty places where we live(in the states) but that’s one thing you forget when you don’t live here. The vanilla ice cream was really smooth and didn’t have the cloying aftertaste that sometimes accompanies vanilla ice cream. I liked the cookie dough mix-in. Jon got one of their specialty mixes and also liked it. The standard includes a waffle cone, though you can upgrade to a waffle bowl if you so choose. Two smalls with 2 mix-ins each will run you about $ 6, inclusive. And, for the record, a small is more than plenty!

I have to agree with Dean… this place is really not all its hyped up to be. If you Love toppings and thats what makes your day then go for it… in fact between this place and dairy queen you have all you need. I think if you are going to display a mouthwatering and appealing piece of ice cream for the world to marvel at,…it should be more complex. Think of the variety in flavours… the diversities of creams and sugars… the options for creativity are limitless. Here all I got was a variety I can get at my local DQ, a soft/leaky cone and a half melted scoop of what once could have been considered ice cream. I think I’ll have some gelato. ;)

Good ice cream even in the middle of winter. Service was good, lots of ice cream varieties and toppings. Definitely giving ColdStone a run for their money.

This Marble Slab has a CONSTANT flow of traffic the last 5+ times I’ve been driving through here during the Summer. 2.5 *Stars* for this location because the couple lining up behind me just got tired of waiting and left. I had the Raspberry Cheesecake on Waffle Cup($ 7+) which was a good treat. This franchise shouldn’t be considered for the best Ice Cream but what it does offer is VARIETY. You can select from the Marble Slab selection such as S’Mores, Raspberry Cheesecake, White Chocolate Raspberry Swirl, and others or make your own Combination with your selection of Ice Cream and various Toppings. This allows for quite a selection of Ice Cream flavour profiles that traditional Ice Cream places won’t have readily available. IMAGINE, Cheesecake Ice Cream with Bananas, Blueberries, Brownie, Butterfinger®, Bubblegum, Caramel, Cherries, Chocolate Chips, Chocolate Sprinkles, Cookie Dough, Crispy Crunch®, Fudge, Graham Cracker, Gummy Bears, Kit Kat®, Miniature Marshmallows, Nestle Crunch®, Oreo® Cookies, Pecans, Pineapple, Rainbow Sprinkles, Raspberries, Reese’s® Peanut Butter Cups, Reese’s® Pieces, Shredded Coconut, Skor®, Sliced Almonds, Smarties®, Snickers®, Strawberries, and Walnuts. $ 0.79 per Topping… At least I don’t THINK they said limiting how many toppings you can have. Let’s do this!

Concept is pretty different. Basically pick your ice cream, pick your toppings and they mix them in front of you on a large frozen marble slab. The ice cream itself is pretty tasty(apparently made fresh every morning) and there’s a wide range of toppings, not to mention a whack load of different waffle cones. Kind of expensive for ice cream(a cone will run you about $ 4 – 6), and the ice creams gets a little soft during the mixing process. The servers themselves tend to seem disinterested, mind you I guess i would be too if I was scooping ice cream all day.

Sorry Melissa G… I don’t agree with your review. Although the concept is unique, …you pick your favourite Ice Cream, add your favorite toppings, mix it all up on a cold Marble Slab and Voila… an Instant Masterpiece. Marble Slab is just another example of a mediocre American product that fails to live up to its hype. In reality… all that mixing and mashing only speeds up the melting process, and by the time you actually get your hands on the cone, your not eating Ice Cream anymore, all your left with is a thick chunky Milk Shake in a leaky waffle cone. I ordered a Coffee Ice Cream with Skor Bar, and Snickers. Sounds Delicious right? Ummmm Not. The Coffee flavored Ice Cream is so weak, it doesn’t even have a hint of coffee in it. This was a big disappointment for me. The least you can do as a premium Ice Cream parlor is get your flavors right. Is that too much to ask? My verdict is: This Place is Over-Rated. Definitely not worth the ride to Woodbridge. That experience made me crave real Ice Cream. Yesterday, I went to Baskin Robbins. Not exactly considered premium ice cream, but in comparison to Marble slab… It Rocked! i won’t be back anytime soon

Marble Slab is definitely a place that stands on its own as an ice parlour. The reason for this is because of its delicious reputation for serving a ton of diverse flavours and its unique way of making ice cream taste better and more homemade than ever! Now let me know explain why Marble Slab is very unique in comparison to your typical ice cream place… Once you enter the store, you pick one of their many ice cream flavours that best satisfies your craving. Once the flavour of your choice is selected, the ice cream is placed on this large frozen marble slab(hence the name of the parlour), where your choice of toppings are blended into the ice cream. And to finish off your decadent dessert, you pick one of the store’s freshly-baked waffle cones to hold your one-of-a-kind dessert. As for the flavours, Marble Slab currently offers a total of 47ICECREAMSTOCHOOSEFROM! These flavours range from vanilla bean to mango to cotton candy. Any flavour you name, they have! For toppings, they offer around 36 toppings. This includes the popular favourites such as cookie dough, oreo cookies and reeses pieces, as well as fresh fruit selections and items from the nut family. To finish off your dessert, Marble Slab has a total of 8 cones — both waffle and specialty dipped cones. Since it opened in my area last spring, it was an instant hit! Tons of people would line up on those hot summer weekends and humid nights to partake in a refreshing sweet. I will admit it though… you do pay a bit more than you would at a generic ice cream place. Just a small cup of this unique ice cream can cost at least $ 7. However, it is just a scrumptious treat! And if you ever want to share this treat with guests at any of your rocking summer parties, Marble Slab caters ice cream social and sundae bar themed parties!
