Dr, Gail Nield is the founder of the Woodbridge Dermatology and Laser Centre. We have been making Woodbridge beautiful for over 2 decades.

Our clinic was the first clinic in Vaughan to offer Laser Hair Removal, years before other clinics began to try this procedure. We are the most experienced clinic with respect to treating excess facial and body hair. Hormone inbalances may account for excess faical hair and only a qualified physician can order appropriate lab work, and offer prescription medications, including Vaniqa, to enhance the effectiveness of Laser hair removal.

Skin Tightening and Lifting using Ulthera, a new, non surgical facelift option. Ultherapy, using the power of Ultrasound is much more effective than Thermage skin tightening and Dr. Nield has been offering this non-​invasive treatment since 2010.

Established in 1990.

Dr. Gail Nield founded the Woodbridge Dermatology and Laser Centre in 1990, having just graduated from the University of Toronto’s Dermatology Program. She was the first full time dermatologist in Vaughan. Dr. Nield has set the standards of care for exceptional cosmetic dermatology services. Our clinic was the first in Vaughan to offer Laser Resurfacing, Laser Hair Removal, Botox injections, Collagen fillers for lines and wrinkles, leg vein injections, and Photofacials. We continue to be the only clinic in Vaughan to run an OHIP covered Wart Clinic and Light Therapy for Psoriasis. Dr. Nield is the first and only physican in York Region to offer the latest, most effective Skin Tightening and Lifting Ulthera treatments. Ultherapy is an excellent alternative to an invasive facelift. Dr. Nield is well known in the community to be honest, compassionate and always having her patients’ best interests in mind.

Business Owner

Dr. Gail Nield graduated from Queen’s University with a degree in Nursing. She worked as a nurse in Moose factory and then as an ICU nurse in St. John’s, Nfld. She continued to nurse part time, as she studied medicine at Memorial University. She graduated from medicine at MUN with first place marks, earning the Gold medal. She interned at Toronto Western Hospital, did Internal Medicine at Queen’s, before being accepted into the Dermatology Residency program at the University of Toronto. Dr. Nield has created a world class cosmetic dermatology clinic in Vaughan, equal to none. Patients travel from across the province and from across Canada to receive her expert advice and care.
