Double Charged me and had to call twice and they haven’t fixed!!! ITHASBEEN A OVER A MONTH!!! Stayed at Starwood Hotels for 250+ nights. Never wrote bad review. Stayed at this hotel and the hotel charged me 3X! there was one reversed charge. In essence they double charged me. I’ve called back twice and each time they promise to look into it. NOFOLLOW-UP. I’ve even sent them a picture of my card bill. «We don’t have record of these charges» they say. No one seems to care. Starwood should investigate them. No one seems to care.

Only been here an hour and I already want to give this hotel 5 stars! First off, its close to YYZ airport which is always a plus whether you’re traveling for business or pleasure Second, the front desk people were so courteous, helpful and friendly. We arrived for an early check-in and he said he will see what he can do about it. 10 minutes later, we got our room! He also told us to grab breakfast, which was being offered til 9:30am. Third, the complimentary breakfast was good. From what I saw they had biscuits with egg/bacon or veggies. They also had bagels and toast and all the stuff needed(cream cheese, butter, peanut butter, jam). They also had a good selection of cereal, fruits and pastries(the mini croissants = my favorite!!!). Coffee, OJ and cranberry juice was also available along with boiled eggs and yogurt. I say a pretty good breakfast to start your day!!! Fourth, our room was amazing. Modern, spacious, clean. Just look at pictures for proof. Basically, this place got me from the first hello and I would recommend it to friends and family for sure and would personally stay here next time I am in town

I want to like this hotel but I found it mediocre. It gives off a modern vibe and the aesthetics are nice but that’s about it. Our suite was clean enough but upon closer inspections you see signs of rushed maintenance. Crumbs of food under sofa cushions… Hair remnants in shower and minimal linens on the bed that barely cover the mattress. The ventilation was making so much noise I thought it was raining outside. The continental breakfast was also what you expect of hotel food and did not exceed expectations. The coffee was very watered down and they only had plastic utensils which I thought was odd considering they were giving off a modern eco friendly vibe.

Came to Toronto for the first time for a wedding and am so happy to have found the perfect hotel! Initially, I was nervous the experience was not going to be positive — the hotel is located outside of the main city and currently sits next to a major construction zone. However, I am pleased to say that my first impression was completely off base! The hotel is very clean, bright, and modern, offering amenities which I’ve never seen in any hotel(in-room kitchenette, free coffee/cappuccino/espresso machine 24/7, complimentary breakfast and dinner, full gym, pool, printing station, just to name a few!). The room was beautiful and clean and felt more like a studio apartment than a hotel room. Close to major highways, the hotel is a short drive(20 – 30 min) from most tourist hotspots, making it an ideally accessible oasis in Toronto!

Element is a good hotel — part of the SPG group. Very close to YYZ(if you’re doing business /seeing family north of the city — a good choice… I live in the GTA, and, was at a Wedding up here). First impression — walked-in to a nice open lobby, and, was nicely greeted by the Front Desk. Now…at 3:30pm in the afternoon… not having any rooms ready? Come on. We had a Wedding to get ready for, and, my wife used the Lobby washroom to start. They recovered quickly. We had a room within 15 minutes. The hotel is still new, and, working out some kinks I believe. Gorgeous room. L-Couch(comfy), small kitchenette, big windows, and, a rainfall shower. If I was out of town travelling for business, I would be VERY happy with a room like this to return to. Much better than a standard hotel room. Recommended.

When I heard I had to leave southern Cali for the frozen tundra for three weeks, I wasn’t thrilled. However, when I saw my very cool room complete with a kitchenette, I felt much better. The staff were always super friendly, greeting me when I left for work and when I came home in the evening. The breakfast started at 6:30 am which was early enough and had a wide variety like oatmeal, fruits and various breads. For ones with larger appetites, they also have sandwiches and wraps(rotated for variety). There’s a computer station where you can print documents for free as well as a gym and a small pool. It’s also walking distance from restaurants and a pub. It’s centrally located, close to the 427, 407, 27 and 7 highways/freeways. Definitely a place for me to come back the next time I need to come to Toronto.

This is a brand new hotel, close to the airport(YYZ is about 10 km away). There is a Swiss Chalet, McDonalds, Royal Bank and most important, a very good pub(Fionn MacCool’s) in the parking lot! No need to run all over looking for food. I understand that the«WESTIN» set up the Element hotel brand, so SPG points are earned for your stay. The staff have been awesome, rooms are brand new, clean and quiet. I will be back here the next time I am in town!
