Didadi Nails

Recently changed owners. Now called M n J Nails, right next to RBC bank. Amazing customer service, more than 10 + years of experience. I like that they pay a lot of attention to details.
Being a floater around different nail shops, I think I’ll be coming back here from now on. First time having an amazing experience from beginning to end.

This location doesn’t have the absolute best parking situation because you have to know to go to the covered parking in the back or across the street. But they are really friendly and almost always take walk-​ins without attitude. They have comfy chairs for mani-​pedis. The nicest part about the pedicure spas: each customer gets their OWN tub. They don’t use the typical tubs that need to be disinfected. Each tub looks like a barrel and is lined with a plastic bag holding the water. So each customer gets a new bag– in my opinion its the cleanest way to do it and i like that!
The bad part about it is the comfy chair is just a chair and I do miss the massage options that other salons offer. It boils down to this for me: CLEANLINESS vs. MASSAGE. I get free massage chairs at my gym so i opt for cleanliness and thusly I return to Didadi time and time again.
I’ve had bio gel, shellac gel, shellac, body waxing and countless mani & pedi (including their paraffin wax spa).
Their skills with nails is excellent and their paraffin wax upgrade is a must try for everyone! The warm wax feels so soothing and leaves your legs and feet feeling like silk. Their pedicure massages are always relaxing and the best part of the entire experience. I always leave so content with their work. My sister now goes to them too.
Their attentiveness and desire to maintain good hygiene is a definite plus!
Their Waxing skills are unfortunately mediocre. I opted out of the bikini wax after having my armpits waxed and then plucked. But as far as I know most places suck at waxing… there is a technique to it and I’m not sure why its such a hard thing to get right but from my experience it truly is VERY HARD to find a good wax place.
I think for a nail salon most people search for: Cleanliness, Skill and Service and this place has all three. Give them a try and see for yourself!
I predict we’ll see a lot more Didadi Salons in the GTA!
