They worked with us to make sure that everything we needed was what we got. Knowledgable and caring staff, quality products. Much better experience than shopping at a big chain office furniture store.

When our daughter moved out into her first apartment, she needed a modest office set up to prepare her lessons, store files, mark papers, etc. My husband and I checked Ikea, Craig’s List, and various office supply outfits downtown. We weren’t impressed, to say the least.
The salespeople at Coopers Office Furniture proved to be experienced, knowledgeable and very helpful. They examined the photographs and drawing that our daughter supplied and came up with a solution that fit her space and budget. They were kind and directed her to furniture that was ideal for her situation.
We saved time and money, and all of us were thrilled. I would highly recommend Coopers Office Furniture for any and all budgets. They have a wide range of excellent options and their sales people are professional and well trained: they are a great team!

Being a mouse jockey and a general internet whore — I spend a lot of hours sitting in front of the computer. While I have a bells and whistles ergonomic Haworth office chair — it’s still sitting in my Vancouver office and I bought it at a steep discount from a friend in the industry (I really can’t afford Haworth otherwise). And I absolutely refuse to buy the trash they sell at Ikea and Staples. It’s cheap but will typically break within a year.
So I visited most of the office furniture stores in downtown Toronto — got a good dose of slippery salesmen and poor selection of chairs. That is until I visited Coopers.
The showroom is big and the selection is amazing. Huge selection of Global and offerings from smaller manufacturers. Everything from sterile, clean-​looking professional equipment to swoopy and modern office furniture.
Extremely professional and helpful salesmen that will point you in the direction of the chair you need and work within your budget. They have everything from clearance floor models to $ 200-​ish budget chairs that will beat the crap out of anything you can find in Staples/​Ikea to the multi-​hundred ergonomic chairs to the top-​of-​the-​line baby-​soft leather ‘Obama-​and-​George-​W-​has-​the-​same’ executive chair.
After being introduced to the popular models on the floor (all prices listed upfront on the chairs unlike other showrooms I’ve been in), I was left to test out all the chairs. Later, the on-​site ergonomist joined me and really worked with me to find the right chair and fit. It’s really shocking how a few degrees of adjustment can really change the feel of a chair. In addition, he offered to let me take a chair home for a few days before I decided. Apparently, I have the same seating posture and needs as nuclear technicians… (shrug).
I slept on my decision and went back the next weekend and the friendly salesman that was initially helping me was off. I picked a chair they happened to have on-​hand (they usually have to order with a multi-​week turnaround since most people customize their fabrics) — and the other salesman tested my chair (the 1^st one had a stiff recliner) and helped me load my car — despite not making any commission off the sale.
Definitely will be back here if I need more office furniture — however it will be a long time since all the products they sell are rock-​solid reliable.
