I needed a stroller, I found an add on kijiji saying «new in box Quinny buzz Xtra stroller «keeping in mind the original is $ 549.99 plus tax at babies R Us & this guy was selling it for $ 349.99 flat, that’s a good $ 250 savings! Too good to be true? in any case I went to see it, at his shop called: Concord baby.
The owner named Adam was closing up had a face as if he just came back from a funeral. Adam & his father rushed us inside & took me and my spouse in the back warehouse (Super Shady btw) had lots of boxes and furniture, showed me the stroller in the box opened it realllllly quickly with his blade just to show me the stroller which was a bunch of disassembled pieces inside. this should be easy to decide :)
Anyways .this guy was so weird and not to mention rude his father downright assholish attitude, my hubby asked for a mere two minutes for us to decide and he said «no time why did u even come if ur not sure «wtfffff lol nice customer service buddy Im sure he won’t miss his train for 2 min
I was hesitant since this guy claims «I’ll offer u cash no tax but NO paper work» meaning no warranty. he said if something is missing in the box just call Quinny I have a year warranty and they should replace it– hmm not sure if I should take his word for it, he also kept at it how the box won’t fit in my car and just to take the loose parts with me
Great. So I drove 1 hour to a store with shit customer service and no warranty on an item which is over $ 350! And no clue if the item is even authentic & has all pieces.
We were rushed to decide within the span of 60 seconds.
Anyways enough of the rant since we came so far we took a Hugeeeee chance and bought it
Turned out to be the Authentic Quinny 100% functional and 1 year warranty from the makers. Totalllly worth it !!
I’m a happy camper –although those guys need a huge attitude adjustment — I would give them 1 star each for their sad mean faces but 5 stars for the item
