Popped into this location while looking for colours to paint my master bathroom. This store is in the plaza anchored by a Metro Grocery Store. While the store itself is small, they carry a huge assortment of paint with varying degrees of sheen. While Benjamin Moore paint is more expensive than the paint you can buy at Home Depot, Lowes, Canadian Tire, etc, it’s the quality of the paint that sets things apart. I paid just over $ 70(tax in) for a can of Benjamin Moore paint, but it covered amazingly well(very little splatter when rolling). I’ve had friends who have used lower end quality paints and they had to put on 3 – 4 coats to get the desired colour they wanted. I usually stick to Benjamin Moore or Pratt and Lambert, as they’re easy to work with, don’t smell, cover evenly and look great when dry. This location also carries the Benjamin Moore«large chips» — a 12″ x 12″ colour chip that you can purchase for a nominal cost. I highly recommend going this route before buying a specific colour, as you can tape the chip to the wall to get an idea of how it looks during the day and evening(where brightness completely changes the look of the paint) Staff are friendly and knowledgeable and are not pushy at all. I was going to go a more expensive can of paint and the staff member told me it wasn’t necessary for the room I was painting.
