It’s the best ice cream — period. And the little blond teenage girl at the cash got a 10 $ tip from me because she was awesome!
But I agree with my boyfriend that the beaver tail isn’t worth it. Go skating in Feburary on the Rideau canal in Ottawa to get the good old crunchy & greasy cinnamon treat ;)
Despite, La Cremiere is THE BEST ICE CREAM EVER!!!

I stopped here for some ice cream on the way back to Toronto from Montréal at the insistence of my girlfriend. Being from the US, I pretty much compare everything to Dairy Queen as far as soft serve goes. And it is my firm belief that we have the best hard ice cream in the world back home in Columbus, Ohio. We do not, however come close to the smoothness and dreamy creaminess of this soft serve ice cream. It was so perfect and delicious. I wasn’t a huge fan of the beaver tail as it just made me want to eat an elephant ear, but I can’t wait to come back and try a chocolate vanilla swirl at this place. My girlfriend was also incredibly impressed with the service and friendliness from the employee. I wish we had these in The States!
