While our specialty is taxation, our practice also provides complete accounting, corporate planning and business advisory services. We service a wide range of small and medium size companies in a variety of industries, businesses and professions. We enjoy working closely with our clients assisting them in all the financial aspects of their business affairs.

History

Established in 1991.

Prior to establishing his own professional practice in September 1991, Colin Yip was with the accounting firm of KPMG, the largest accounting firm in Canada, for over six years. While at that firm he practiced exclusively in their tax department for several years and provided income tax, goods and services tax and business advisory services to a range of clients. He left the firm as a tax manager to establish his own practice.

In addition to Colin Yip, CPA, his wife Cynthia Yip, CPA, is a partner of the firm. Cynthia had also been with the firm of KPMG for several years and they have worked together at Yip & Associates since 1992. She provides accounting and tax services to clients. Our clients also benefit from an association with Colin’s father, Bock W. Yip, FCPA. Bock has been in professional practice with his own firm for over twenty-​five years. He adds wisdom and experience to the practice. Our clients are also served by several professional accountants we have on staff.
