They lived up to their reviews ^_​^ Theyre really nice and I am satisfied. Other places I’ve been to for arcylic don’t put cuticle oil –_​_​_​– But this place did so yay. I will def come back. I also had a mani pedi with ma and she liked it too ^_^

Favourite place to get my nails done! So many colours to choose from for gel and regular polish. The staff are always friendly and guarantee their work. If anything chips or cracks they have no problem fitting you in asap to have it fixed.
Have been here numerous times and always recommend it to my friends and family.

still in the seat, just had a terrible manicure experience! The technician didn’t speak a single sentence to me. She simply said «Color» when she asked for my color choice. Not even a sentence… really? She spent the entire manicure chatting to her colleagues in another language and no massage to boot. The technician currently doing my toes is doing a great job though! I ran a marathon this weekend and she is taking care of my blistered up feet. I guess it’s luck of the draw on your technician…

This place is so inconsistent. They are often running late and many of the staff pay no attention to shaping or filing. Yesterday the girl working on me filed my nails in about five seconds. They were totally jagged and uneven was and she going to leave it that way until I pointed it out. Still had to refine them at home. She also did a lousy job on polish application.

I love Yaletown Nails. I won’t go anywhere else! They know me by name and service. It’s a big, clean salon with a great environment. They play music videos on loop so you always have something to watch. The girls are efficient and talented. If you have a chip they will usually fix it for free. Call ahead for large bookings and bring wine or bubbly :)

Came here to get acrylic nails — it wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t great when I asked how the price was calculated at the end, she kind of rushed me out by making me pay and running off to talk to a different customer. But it was $ 36 for acrylic nails, $ 5 for the almond shape, $ 5 each for designs on two nails, and $ 15 for gel on top. When I was choosing a nail color the gel and regular nail polish swatches were in the same bin — just a warning if you don’t want to pay extra for gel.
The nail tech was pretty good though, the shape was pretty much spot on and she was very nice. The design wasn’t very pretty tbh, I kind of wished she would’ve just told me that she wasn’t familiar with doing designs so I could’ve asked for someone else in the salon. But all in all not a bad experience, the acrylic seemed to be higher quality since it lasted me about 4 and a half weeks without a fill. I would go back, but I probably wouldn’t get a design next time.

Nice place! Decent prices! They are so busy but fast and efficient. I got my nails done today the first time here and the tech did a great job. She also helped me pick the color which I was so indecisive about haha! The only thing though she forgot to cut my cuticles, but oh well! Still loved her work. Definitely will go back again :-)

So far the best nail salon l have tried in Vancouver during the last 8 years, and believe me I have tried many of them from big chains like pure nail bar to the little individual businesses around the city.
None of them comparable with this humble nail salon in terms of their service, their prices & even their equipment.
The first think that made me come back to this salon all the time is their service with a smile, to me politeness and attentiveness is everything when I want to pamper myself & I think that yaletown nail spa owes it to the great manager Lean who is so caring even for demanding clients like me. They have very good massage chairs & they offer you tea or coffee when they sit you. There have a complete palette of colours in all of the famous brands out there. They offer acrylic services, gel & regular during colours. And for those who like nail arts they have many stuffs. There is always a nice show like the recent Victoria’s Secret on the tv & all the people seems pretty happy all the time. And lastly for the service they offer they have the best prices in town (I’m living in downtown & am not aware of suburb costs for mani-​pedi although once I had a mani-​pedi in north Vancouver and they had the same price as yaletown nail spa with cheaper service) Sometimes they offer you free services like paraffin & lots of awesome promotions. Me and my wife went there a few times but I guess after the last time it won’t happened again.
Sometimes one girl start working on your nails, another girl continue and a third one finish. Obviously the results will never be that great.

I’ve been here a few times for a gel manicure. Quality of manicure depends on which technician you get. I highly recommend calling in ahead of time to make an appointment — your service will be much better as a result. They don’t like walk-​ins. Overall, quick and cost-​effective manicure when you’re in a pinch.

Really enjoyed my first visit to yaletown. Although didn’t get the best reviews on Unilocal,Google gave it high points so we decided to drop in for a pre-​holiday treat!
Nice background music, had a cup of green tea and giggled thru our pedicures with staff. Toes look great and we’ve been given a lot of time in the chairs for our toes to dry.
Will definitely be back!

Love coming here to get my nails done. Theres one guy there called steven and he legit knows what he is doing. The first time when he was assigned to do my nails, i was a bit nervous because i wasn’t sure how it was going to be. But after that, I always go back to him because he is so good at what he does. I personally think he is the best one there. I really like how the space is very big and the seats when you do a mani is a massage chair. Service is very good and they make sure that you feel comfortable.

I highly recommend this place for a gel manicure! I had Joanna and she said was great! I’m. Very particular about the shaping and polishing of my nails. I expect perfection and Joanna delivered. I’ve also heard great things about there other services and will be back for a pedicure soon. This is my go to spot now in Yaletown.

We need another nail bar in yaletown my freind madison was wining that this place overbooks and under delivers .
Shaping and filing very average .
Needs improvement especially at that price.

My favorite nail spa! Chloe helped me pick out a new look and did an excellent job at preparing my nails for New York. The aka Chloe!

I live in Yaletown, so I have been to almost all of the nail salons in the area. I like to get pedicures and I tend to have a lot of dry skin on my feet and cracked heels. I am also VERY particular about my pedicures and want all of the dead skin gone scrubbed off as well as my toenails all even shapes and a very detailed pedicure.
Yaletown Nails is BY FAR the best salon I have been to. Every pedicure I have had has been full service, very very detailed and they use high quality products. I usually get pedicures with a specific girlfriend of mine — it’s a bi-​monthly thing we do together — we have been to almost every salon in the neighborhood and the first time we went to Yaletown Nails, we saw the difference almost immediately. The techs really care about the service they are providing and it really shows.
I cannot say one negative thing about this salon or their techs… and coming from me, that’s saying A LOT! lol
Go once and you will become a regular!

Ok so my gf recommended this place to me. Worst idea EVER. I came here for a pedi and to get an acrylic fill with shellac polish. OMG the shiny part of my nails all came off that night. My nails looked TERRIBLE. They are so busy here and the girls that work here are sooooooo rude.

Decided to give them a try as my usual salon was fully booked.
Biggest regret for sure.
Did a horrible job with everything… Shaping was kinda ok so they get one star for that.
She didn’t clean my cuticles and stared the Shellac process just as. After fact I asked her if she was going to fix them and it was funny when she said «we don’t clean cuticles». I was just pissed! Then why would I pay to get them professionally done?
She then tried to clean them but with re layering my nails 50x with shellac they just ended up looking horrible.
Yea don’t think they’ll last me even till tomorrow.
Wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

I’ve been coming here for three years and usually it’s average but today was quite possibly the worst nail experience I ever had. both ladies cut my toe and then my finger — I bled an excessive amount. made the rest of the mani/​pedi super uncomfortable as I was in pain.
then it got super busy and it’s like they forgot I was still sitting there waiting for them to put a fan on my shitty pedicure. I pointed out it looked like she got her finger print on my big toe and she pretended to not hear what I said and when I pointed it out a second time and touched it the nail polish completely fell off so she applied it a second time and it did the same thing. note I’ve been sitting here for 2 hours and a mani pedi should NEVER take that long. she was about to fix it for a third time and I asked her to take all of the polish off because it was clearly not a good one. the head girl apologized and when I mentioned they cut me (I was STILL bleeding) she said she would take $ 10 off and I could get a polish change for free. so kind.
there’s so many other places in the city to get your nails done, I’ll be taking my business elsewhere from now on.

After a disastrous time at another nail place (see preceding review) I had cracked 3 nails in under a week-​breaking 2 right off.
I don’t know why I had never come across this place before — I sure wish I had! I guess it’s because I don’t normally go that far south on Hamilton Street.
A girl who was working at Victoria Secret actually was the one who told me about it.
The Sunday hours said closed at 6, but I was able to call in at
5 and still book a time to come in.
The salon itself has to be the nicest one I have been to so far in Vancouver. It’s tastefully decorated and everything matched.
The person who did my nails name is Steven. I am hoping he will be my new go to nail guy. He repaired and matched up my nails so well and rather quickly.
Hr was professional and polite. The girls I met working there were friendly and smiling And showed me the selection of nail art bows to chose from for next time.
They were playing music videos on
The TV which helped pass the time.
Price of 3 nails repaired, French with gel polish and a touch of nail art to match the others? Only 18.90 including tax. I have him
25.$ and walked out very happy.
I would give 5 stars, but I will see how they do when I return for a fill or full set and pedicure, I would much rather update and add a star — then have to take one away so today I give a 4,5 /​5
