History

Established in 2012.

Xavier Vivas, founder of Xansibar Design, started creating Websites since his early teen years with tools such as Dreamweaver and Flash. As his love for technology continued evolving, he also started a BA in Finances to complement his passion for entrepreneurship.

After discovering WordPress by 2010 he started using other technologies such Artisteer, a designing tool, and then realized the true power of that CMS platform.

By 2012 he had a solid understanding of WordPress and started studying SEO and online marketing skills to optimize his customer’s websites.

In the upcoming years he has continued studying other Web technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript as well as other programs to deliver the best of his knowledge to his clients.

Xavier truly believes that in an ever-​changing technological world it is crucial to keep up with the new tools, programming languages and techniques used in Web Development in order to remain competitive in the local and global markets.

Business Owner

In 2000 he graduated from Universidad San Francisco de Quito with a degree in Business Administration with specialization in Finances.

In 2005 he obtained a Minor in Philosophy and Hispanic Studies at Universite de Montréal.

Xavier has been a freelancer since 2008 and has also worked in different online projects ranging from language tools to online stores.

He is also the founder of Slacklining Canada and Absolute Slacklines as well as a community leader in several slacklining communities in Canada and South America.
