Typical North American food, ribs, burgers, salads and what not. I had the spaghetti and meatballs and BBQ ribs. Portions are rather big so I would split with a friend. The sauce was a bit salty. The ribs were good though, the meat was so tender it fell right off the bone.

I tried Santa Fe poutine. It was listed on the menu as an «upgrade the fries that come with your burger» option, but it was also available as a standalone item. The soft meat was barbecue flavour, but sweeter than I was expecting. I wish there was a bit more of the Tex-Mex spice kind of flavour in the overall mix. I’ve been trying something new every time I come, but I think I’ll stick to pastas, salads and their red clam chowder.

Best coleslaw there is. Very convenient location for me and ample parking. I try to go during less busy times. The service is always friendly and really on the ball refilling drinks and fries. The new burger menu is scrumptious.

Won’t be frequenting this one any more. Ordered pickup, we bring it back to our shop, they screwed up my order, so they recook it for me while I’m waiting and screwed it up TWICEMORE. Then the cook started ARGUING with me. Doubleyou Tee Eff! Then they made me pay AGAIN for my order. So I ended up paying over $ 20 for a side of three sliders. No apologies, nothing. I don’t mind paying for my order(obviously) but to make me pay twice because THEY screwed up… no. One star because the fourth order they finally got correct and the sliders were really yummy.

A long time ago having White Spot food was a treat as a youngster. They still feature delicious burgers & their trade mark Pirate Packs are still cool. Other than that there isn’t anything else to look forward about this brand. What seems to have been a family type restaurant as its historical roots would have u believe is now just another overpriced chain featuring mostly average food on the menu. Some servings are rather tiny as well such as their ice cream. No longer a good option for us to visit for some light food & drinks with friends. Whenever possible I just try to avoid chain type restaurants like this that do heavy advertising. Wonder who’s the dumb ass that decided to use famous local celebrity chefs in their stupid & cheesy TV commercials. They probably cost a lot & that cost has to be recovered somewhere… I’ll give u 2 guesses where.

One of my favourite White spot, in terms of privacy and quick in & out, with its own parking lot on the ground level. try your luck at the Oakridge one if you’re in a rush — give yourself 5 min each way just to get in and out… anyways, i digress… Been renovated in the past year or so, and the back part is my fav section; not only is it private but bright lighting to do work, and after lunch, when it’s a lot slower, you can stay there just for coffee even ;) Though ppl can be harsh on these chains, it’s got the classics and their washrooms are usually always clean! One tip to avoid making a left onto marine drive during rush hour, is to go along E. Kent Avenue, the back road, so then one can hit Fraser St. or that mini-plaza so you can get your light ;)

There is something weird about this White Spot. My fiancée and I love going to White Spot and this one is the closest to our home but we always avoid it. Every time we come here something goes wrong including: hair in our food(twice!), wrong order, bad server, food takes forever etc. etc. Two seperate times we found hair in our food here. Last time we were there our server was quite rude and the food took FOREVER. This is a White Spot that hasn’t been renovated yet and it really shows in the service. Not recommended to come here if you can go to any other White Spot. Oakridge is a good one and the new one way over on Marine Way is good too.

Back to the Future! If you like to experience what it was like to eat inside your car, this is it. This is one of the few White Spots where you can get a tray delivered with food and eat it right inside your car. Their pirate paks are great for this drive-in service. Kids love it! I wouldn’t venture to this location if you’re not into the drive-in service because the interior of this restaurant is looks dated. It’s one of the older White Spot restaurants in Vancouver. The exterior looks like a warehouse.

Nothing amazing to report here, except for the kick ass server we had the other day for dinner.(At least two of the stars are for him alone) Ask for Raymond. He made a pretty blah dinner break from work actually quite enjoyable. Total ninja! OK I could mention a couple things… Blueberry pies are in season. The crust is yukky, but the berries are frikkin yummy. Also the Legendary Burger doesn’t come with lettuce or tomato? Soooo this is legendary why? Legendarily boring perhaps. No worries, Ray Ray hooked us up with two side plates of vegetation fixins. Bam.
