We’re All Pretty Bizarre Art Exhibit

I saw an advertisement for this exhibit on Vancity Buzz and thought about checking it out before heading out to Ed Sheeran.
An art exhibit based on the many movies of John Hughes, «We’re All Pretty Bizarre» promises an ‘80s and ‘90s throwback in the form of portraits and weird art!
The gallery website says «in 1985, John Hughes directed Weird Science and The Breakfast Club. Considering he only directed 8 films, that made 1985 is pretty important year for him. He also wrote National Lampoon’s European Vacation that year! Thirty years later, his nearly 50 films are still an important part of western pop culture.
I personally got through the exhibit in about 15 minutes. The gallery is small.
I love seeing various artist’s take on the art of the Breakfast Club, one of my favorite movies that I have seen 4 times a year.
The whole time I had a smile on my face.
I busted out laughing at something in the exhibit and the guy running the show from behind the til was sweet enough to indulge me in a joke or two.
