Super rude and arrogant and there prices are not great. I have spent a lot of money at warriors and wonders over the years. I went in for the last time and I will never spend another cent there.

It was quiet with one customer and three staff when I walked into the store on Saturday afternoon. I looked in the cabinets for five minutes but no-​one made eye contact or acknowledged me. I then asked for help. I asked for recommendations for folding knives, 3′ or smaller blade, drop point or reverse tango, wooden or ergo handle and $ 50-​$ 100. I was told quite sharply that they had 150 such knives, I should look on their computer and narrow it down or we’d be there all day! As I walked to their computer, as told, I heard a lady being told that she didn’t know what she was looking for so how could they. The poor woman was looking to buy a nice knife for her husband for Christmas and was not getting a very nice service from the middle aged bearded guy «serving» her. 3 minutes later an advanced search on their website had narrowed the choice to 9 knives, only 3 of which could be bought in store. It’s more knowledgable than the staff! I was then approached by a young East Indian guy who was very helpful, not the most experienced, but he was polite, helpful and made the sale. If the owner reads this he should re-​train or fire the two bearded staff and keep the young guy as well as the woman who works in the week. Good product is nothing without staff that don’t alienate the prospective customers.

Great selection and prices. Although I’ve never had the pleasure of seeing this place in person as I live in Alberta. I’ve made 4 different orders from this place and each came within a week. And it was actually cheaper to buy from here and have it shipped than to buy the same stuff locally. Online shopping is super easy with these guys and the selection of astounding. Cold steel, spyderco, maxpedition, boker, just a shame there isn’t any gerber products. Nonetheless very good if your online shopping.

Crazy selection (most are online only) and good prices. Be warned you need to know your stuff and do your research before if you deal with the owner/​manager (middle aged darker complexion fellow). If you go in asking him what he recommends he’ll insult and shame you into leaving. I’ve seen him basically kick out a couple people while shopping for not knowing exactly what they wanted. A bit ruthless but it is his store. You might score some extra points with him if you’re a fan of heavy/​thrash metal bands. The other staff are pretty good.

After having so many typically bad Canadian shopping experiences, it’s nice to be able to report that there a few good Canadian stores left. This is one of them. I was looking for a KA BAR fighting knife and and they had one for about the same price as Cabelas in the States. Cabelas, BTW, refused to ship my order to my US mailing address because it included this knife. Anyway, rather than wait a week or so for Amazon to provide this knife, I drove to this store in Van, got the knife, received a Law Enforcement discount, and walked out happy. Overall, best prices on gear that I have come across Canada. Customer service was fine as well. Highly recommend them.

Would buy from here because it is the cheapest store, the sales had horrible attitude. I stood there like an idiot for 5 min for a sales person to help me out, when i realize that i wont be getting any I left.

I love this place. This is my favorite shop for blades and other related products. They have the best prices in Western Canada hands down! Online and in-​store. Make sure you know what you want before coming into the shop. They have a small selection in their displays but that’s the tip of the iceberg. Take my advice — Browse their website, write it down, go get it. They have knowledgeable staff who are great to talk to… provided they aren’t too busy. They’ve had every blade I’ve come into buy at awesome prices. If your product is out of stock, you can sign up for a notification email for when they arrive. I noticed they had some LARP gear on display. You never know when you need a suit of armor! You get free parking with your purchase, get your ticket stamped.

I’ve never set foot in this store. Not once. I don’t think I could find it, even if I knew my way around Vancouver.
So how can I write a review about it, you ask? Simple — this outfit is one of the BEST online retailers I have ever dealt with.
Their website is easy to navigate, their ordering system is extremely user friendly, and their prices are exceptionally reasonable.
But the part that I absolutely, completely, and entirely love is the ultra fast shipping that they do. I normally place orders on a Thursday morning, and I receive the items on Friday afternoon.
Next day shipping to Alberta for $ 12. Nothing to complain about there.

Tucked between the peace loving Bikrams Yoga and Kins fresh market is a nondescript storefront with window displays of Camouflage Clothes and Flashlights. When you walk inside and look at the display cases it all clicks. This business is a large well stocked Knife dealer. The Knifes in this store are the kinda sold for hunting mammals in the broadest sense of the word. I think the vast majorly of the stores Knifes real world use would be as weapons.
Yes I am sure they have great kitchen Knifes a letter opener or two behind the counter. This place is well stocked, I asked the cleak if they wholesaler dealer and they told me this was a retail store. I looked around and decided that a Camouflage Hydration Pack would clash with my sold blue MEC bike panniers. Personally I don’t feel this store fits in the City Centre Mall vibe but I guess variety makes a marketplace.

Knife collection — new favorite hobby & this is the best local option along with Camouflauge @ 888 Granville Street.
Their website is fantastic, and the prices are fair for Canada (although as Canadians we’re getting majorly ripped off based on what Americans are paying for the same products. Check
if you don’t believe it).
Good location, outstanding product selection and knowledgeable staff.
However, I have 2 complaints:
1) Start carrying Kershaw brand knives. These are some of the most popular, value oriented, quality knives on the market, and it’s annoying you don’t carry them (You are basically giving that business away to Camouflauge…)
2) Get a bigger display area. I would love to browse their enormous selection in person but instead, you have to know in advance what you’re looking for from the website, and then ask for them to retrieve it for you from the storage area.
The only legit local competitor in terms of knife selection is Camouflage on Granville Street. I would say the selection is on roughly on par, but Camo has Kershaw & they display everything in glass cases, so it’s more impulse purchase friendly and visually stimulating.
The value-​add for W&W is the knowledge of the staff who are very helpful and able to make recommendations based on price point and needs. At Camo, the employees are nice, but know nothing about the products.

This place rocks! Friendly service and they moved to a bigger and new location inside City Square mall.
I bought a Spyderco Para-​military 2 here on sale and it was cheaper than buying it online. I love my Spyderco it has a super fast blade deployment, very light, easy to sharpen, holds a great edge long, and is the best folding knife I have ever bought. For $ 112 on sale it is a great value. I use this for work as it is safer than a box cutter but I also take it with me on hikes and camping. Spyderco also makes budget priced knives made in China which are still awesome quality blades.
I also bought a 4 sevens double AA flashlight it has 7 modes including strobe and SOS, maximum output is 280 lumens that is extremely bright. On sale for $ 49.99 and it comes with duracell batteries, holster, and other accessories.
I just bought a razor sharp Katana today I am all smiles today very nice. Practicing my sword technique. Bonzai!!!

Whether you are looking for a Roman gladius, an EDC folder, or a pocket floodlight, this is the place to go. On top of it all, Jay delivers fantastic, no-​bullshit customer service backed by extensive knowledge of all he sells. If only all businesses were run like this.

I had been looking for a foldable knife for some time and during my visit to Vancouver deciced to check if the city offered any options. After some googling I found this place and visited the place.
First impression was amasement by the sheer amount of artifacts in display. The organising of the items gives a somewhat in-​progress feeling with temporary looking stands and piles of stuff on the counters, shelves and floor.
I asked to see a certain model that looked promising based on internet research. I explained that I didn’t want a knife with a lots of moving parts, meaning assisted opening springs and such, and was replied with smirk and a lesson of the essential moving parts of a foldable knife. Yeah, I thought there would be an axis and a locking mechanism.
After juggling with the knife for a moment I asked if they had something of similar design with a bit thicker handle. I was replied with another smirk and a lesson about how we could go there and they would give me something like that and then I’d say yeah but not this thick but something else and then they would hand me something else and so forth…
I understand this point of view taken the fact that they do have a huge amount of knives available. On the other hand, in some other places this kind of handing over items would have been referred as customer service.
They did give any knife I pointed to wish to try. Nevertheless, I felt that they considered the goods to sell themselves no matter how little the staff was into customer relations.
For a brief moment I considered leaving the shop just due to the lack of service spirit the staff seemed to show. BTW, they constantly made very clear to me and other customers that they take no responsibility related to the choise. When I tried to explain that I didn’t want a spring assisted opening system and couldn’t formulate that exact term in a second I got another smirk noting that if I didn’t know what to call it, they couldn’t know it either. Surely they would know the technical terms of their knives better than a non-​native english spearker such as I.
Anyway… I got the Benchmade 556 and I’m really satisfied with the product. I just wish the staff would care a bit more what it comes to their customers and therefore the people who pay their income.
One star for the amount of items and another for their website which contains descriptions and pictures of if not all, must be pretty close to all items they sell.

Wow. I was looking for the nearest Surefire dealer and I found this place. It’s definitely a hobby store for the enthusiasts of… swords, sabres, spears, axes, shields, helmets, knives, and batons. (Medic!)
I feel like there’s a secret door in this store that leads to the Medieval period.
You need something more practical? They have various SOG multi-​tool items. You know that nifty, essential, back-​packing gadget that holds any or all of the following — saw, blade, screwdriver, scissors, wire cutter/​crimper, bottle opener, and toothpick.*
* If you’re stuck in the middle of nowhere while hiking, it’s good to know that at least your teeth are clean when they find you.
Okay, okay. Too extreme for your taste? How about Shun kitchen knives. (And you thought Williams Sonoma and Cookworks were the only ones that catered to fine cutlery.)
And lastly, Surefire, baby! Prices are reasonable for Canada standards at least. Except for the batteries. CAD35.88 for a pack of 12? Are you serious? That’s odd because Surefire website lists their RETAIL price at USD21.00. With the current exchange rate you can’t surely be spending more than CAD25.00 as a customer. But alas, Surefire only ships locally within the USA.
In any case, this store is worth visiting if only to reminisce those days when you swore you were a Ninja, a Samurai, and a Knight in your past lives.
Now arise noble Knight and walk along the ranks of Sir Paul… Smith.

Excellent, wide selection, helpful, friendly and knowledgeable staff. They carry the gamut from ordinary folding knives to blunt-​trauma instruments to full-​size, sharp swords.
