History

Established in 2011.

Donna and Nouver both already enjoyed filming videos for family and friends independent of each other, and had been doing so for years. When they began doing projects together, they realized that Donna’s directorial creativity was enabled and enhanced by Nouver’s technical artistry. Their everyday passion became a professional venture, and a longtime passion became Wakefield Productions.

Hey there! I’m Donna. The chip-​munching, get things done, go-​go-​go, story-​telling dynamo part of the team that is Wakefield.

When I’m not talking to you, you’ll find me out connecting with people, planning the schedule, responding to emails, and making sure projects are moving along. I LOVE seeing the finished product, so things trucking forward makes me giddy happy and über satisfied.

As for Wakefield, I love seeing a film come together. While Nouver’s strengths are more on the technical side of things, of lighting and gear management, I really enjoy editing and composing music. I thrive on grabbing the best footage as well as scoring the soundtrack to tell the most compelling tale while creating that ‘yes’ feeling deep in the pit of your gut.

The tales we tell are of real people and real companies. I love connecting people of all walks of life, and Wakefield definitely allows me to do that!
