Waffle Time

Doesn’t even deserve this one star. Poor service gross food. Only one person working @ 12pm on a Saturday. We have been waiting 30 mins for 3 egg and waffle sandwiches and 2 smoothies. RUN AWAY!

OKAY NO. This «food place» IF YOU CAN EVEN CALL IT A FOOD PLACE, is actually ridiculous. I can not believe its still open in such a nice area. Being a tourist from NYC I thought I’ve seen it all. Nope. Wanted to stop in for some quick breakfast. Our brunch at twisted fork (amazing place go there) was quicker than this!!! First of all they had ONE worker for a Saturday morning. What??? We were in a hurry so we ordered three bacon egg and cheese sandwiches. OMG I can make a quicker sandwich honestly. The guy was literally dragging his feet to make a powdered smoothie (fresh my arse)
Everything about this place pissed me off. The dirty small griddle, the processed cheese that are individually packaged (could be 3 years old you don’t know) and something that looked like bacon but honestly it could’ve been from a different animal, not cooked. Messed up the first sandwich, after waiting 30 minutes already. After asking for a refund and a void he said «oh I can’t do that I’m not a manager and I’m not sure when he’s coming in» ummmmm manager you clearly aren’t doing well in your hiring/​training department.
Okay listen I really never do this but I felt the need to let you all know that this place should be shit down. Please go to a better place, you all deserve it!

AVOID AVOID AVOID this garbage dump!!! We paid for our food and left before we ever ate it! Where to start… First of all the dumbest human on earth behind the counter told us it would be «more difficult to make the sandwich with toast». What!!!
It took 20 minutes to make 1 terrible smoothie made from powder. 10 minutes later when we got our first bacon EGG and cheese waffle sandwich it came WITHOUT EGGS! The cheese was just laid on top and not even melted. It looked disgusting. We told the guy making the sandwich that we asked for egg and he said «no you just asked for bacon and cheese». Wtf? Then we asked him to void the orders so we could go but he said he would need a manager. Exasperated, our party of 5 got up and left without eating OR getting a refund.
If any manager reads this (which I doubt) please close this god awful place and spare everyone the misery of stepping in here.

Good food, it did take a long time to prepare… although we just ordered waffles…
On the expensive side.

Ordered waffle and ham/​mango fruit smoothie today. I dont eat a lot but do not feel full after this $ 13 lunch. «fresh fruit smoothie» was $ 5+ and tasted nothing like real fruit, extremely artificial… honestly even mcdonalds smoothies taste more real fruit than this one. Waffle was a little burnt but taste was not bad.

Got two of their 5 $ waffle and coffee deal with Nutella on top. It’s fair to say that this place is just ok. The coffee was okay and the waffle was hard to finish because it was too sweet.

I walked pass by this little waffle shop and saw the «$ 5 for waffle and coffee» deal. I thought why not give it a try! The coffee is pretty standard, the waffle wasn’t bad. I think in order to give this place a fair review, I need to try some of the fancier item. I would definitely go back there again

Awsome place. Have you tried fresh waffle? yes i did. Just wait 3min you can get fresh one. I never heard about it. but here is. And they are so nice kinda people.
I saw lots of reviews. And i don’t believe another reviews. I think everyone have to try it. They are not really fast serving. But i can see they doing best.
I like they are menu. And i love they are waffles.

If you can’t believe it, I can say try it. It’s fresh delicious.

When I look at my watch… what time is it… WAFFLE TIME. I had high hopes for this place. Today was their opening and I had a personal invite from a friend to come down and check it out. They’re not ready for an opening. In fact this should’ve been advertised as a soft opening. I had a mango bubble tea with pearls. It wasn’t as sweet as other bubble teas? Maybe their still working on the recipe? Lady was really nice and they had some opening day bonuses.

They just opened today (2015-​05-​28). Seems a bit chaotic and not fully stocked yet. It looks quite different than the previous cafes that used to be here.
I ordered a piña colada bubble tea with pearls. They ran out of pearls. The employee was very apologetic and offered me coconut jelly to go along with my 7 pearls. The order took rather long (5+ minutes) considering there was only one order prior to mine. It looks like their bubble teas are made from powder.
Anyway the drink was quite watery, but refreshing considering today’s warm weather. I’m not sure if I will come here regularly yet, they definitely do have some interesting items on their menu. But I might give it another week or two before coming back and hope they have all their ducks in a row by then. Pew pew!
