Vogue Cakes

I’m so glad I came across this great little bakery. I’ve ordered from Vogue Cakes twice now, and both times it has met and surpassed my expectations of vegan yumminess. I’m not even a vegan. The chocolate green tea cake was my favourite — it was like eating little bites of heaven. The vegan frosting and decorations were out of this world. Both were special sugar-​free orders that Vogue kindly did for me, and was such a huge hit at both of my parties. It’s a good bang for your buck considering the cost of cakes at a lot of other specialty bakeries, and both flavour and artwork are one of a kind! I’ll definitely be ordering from them again!

It was not easy to find a cake without processed sugar. I’ll give you that. BUT! Are you kidding me?! The message melted during the 5 minutes drive home!!!

Recently ordered some choclate ganache cupcakes for a babyshower at work — absolutely unreal, I ordered with very little notice and got the cakes the next day, beautifully presented and tasted like heaven! highly reccommend this place for future purchases!

I was looking for Red Velvet Cupcakes with cream cheese icing for my friend’s birthday.
Vogue cakes came up and they looked like they were close to where I live, and the 2
reviews I read both were very positive (each gave 5 stars)
I checked out the website and decided to order a dozen Red Velvet Cupcakes. This was done via email. I got a response a little while later confirming my order. The odd thing was the address is not listed anywhere on the website. With the confirmation email I was told that the pick up location was not downtown (as it appears on the Unilocal map on the page) it was way out in West Broadway past Arbutus!
This was not cool as I live in Yaletown and don’t drive so I had wanted a place I could walk to. Lucky for me, a friend offered to go pick them up.
He had quite the time finding the location which is actually in Tera V Burger. 2961 West Broadway, Had this been listed on the website, I would of not ordered from them.
Well I was hoping that the cupcakes would be worth it. Were they? Sadly NO. the cupcake itself was moist and tasty, yes. But the frosting? It had NO taste whatsoever– none. And it coated the roof of my mouth. I was so upset that I was about to go to the grocery store to see what I could add to make the frosting have taste. My friend offered to make cream cheese frosting from scratch for me, but him having to whip that up, then scrape off all the old frosting, then reapply the new stuff was simply going to take too long.
And why should I have to do this when I paid almost 30 $ for them? I just brought them as is. They were certainly not a hit and I heard complaints about the frosting all night. Very sadly disappointed at the taste and more then a bit put off about the misleading and far away location. I will never order anything from this place again.

My son and I had the Red Velvet cake at Fynfoods on Robson Street and I had to know where it came from! This is the place. ¹⁰⁄₁₀ would recommend!

All the gluten-​free cheesecakes are amazing, they are soft, creamy and fresh. The berries are organic and locally sourced. These are the best cheesecakes in Vancouver. They’re even better than the non-​vegan ones.
Our customers love the red velvet, matcha and especially mocha cakes. They keep coming back for more!

Soooo good!!! You actually wont believe its vegan. A must-​try!
